Former Jamaica and West Indies captain Jimmy Adams is to be the Technical Assistant of the West Indies men’s team for the ICC World Twenty20 championship in the Caribbean from April 30 to May 16.
Chief Executive Officer of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), Dr. Ernest Hilaire, said today that Adams’ appointment was made at the request of relatively new Head Coach, Ottis Gibson.
is this for real? how long will the TA post be for and is the time frame long enough to make an impact? Most of the big stars are playing in the IPL :)

“Jimmy has been drafted in to assist Head Coach Gibson with the general preparation of the team,” Dr. Hilaire told the BCA website in an exclusive telephone interview.
