I would send a 16-man squad to England:
1) Kraigg Brathwaite
2) Kieran Powell - on probation, if he doesn't choose CPL instead
3) Shai Hope - on probation
4) Roston Chase
5) Jermaine Blackwood
6) Jason Holder - promote him, because he finishes not out, and he bats better than most of our specialist bats!
7) Shane Dowrich - on probation
8 ) Nikita Miller - deserves another chance, and English wickets can get dry in August
9) Dev Bishoo
10) Alzarri Joseph - if he doesn't choose CPL instead
11) Shannon Gabriel
12) Kyle Hope
13) Sunil Ambris/Jahmar Hamilton
14) Kemar Roach
15) Jerome Taylor - if he doesn't choose CPL instead
16) Jason Mohammed
That's my picks...what's yours?

The CPL runs from Aug 4-Sept 9, so expect the following players to be unavailable....
1) Chris Gayle
2) Evin Lewis
3) Lendl Simmons
4) Rovman Powell
5) Kieron Pollard
6) Ravi Rampaul
7) Raymon Reifer
8 ) Damion Jacobs
9) Chadwick Walton
10) Veerasammy Permaul
11) Jason Mohammed
12) Keon Joseph
13) Shimron Hetmyer
14) Carlos Brathwaite
15) Jerome Taylor
16) Marlon Samuels
17) Rahkeem Cornwall
18 ) Sunil Narine
19) Denesh Ramdin
20) Darren Bravo
Kieron Powell and Alzarri Joseph are in the St Kitts squad. Will they pull out?
Miller has made no secret of the fact that he prefers Tests and FC cricket to T20s, but none of the others above share his views....

LOL at this idiot continuing to try to push Miller and thinking that Samuels, Joseph, Cornwall, Narine, Ramdin, Bravo, Mohammed, Lewis, Hetty, Jacobs, Carlos, Permy etc would EVER turn down a tour to England in order to play in the CPL!!!
Man you really don't understand cricket do you?
Anyway in the absence of Darren Bravo I've suggested to people close to the selectors that they should look at one CHESNEY HUGHES!!!..he knows English conditions like the back of his hand and has scored over ten tons over there!!!..he also apparently wants to play for WI now. Yes, he's not be great in our spin conditions but he's a proven performer in swinging conditions and I think the selectors would be wise to pick him for that number three spot. The blacky can replace Singh.

£175 for a ticket to watch the second day's play in Leeds....
There must be a mistake with those prices, surely. Maybe that's the price of the tickets being sold by scalpers, who've hoarded them up, and re-selling them for exorbitant prices. I see that there's already limited availability for the second and third day's play at the Lords Test.
Gils and I went to watch the London diamond league track meet yesterday, and it just cost us £20 each.
Afro, Lil Bravo has already indicated he prefers the CPL to a tour of England:
http://www.cricket.com.au/news/darren-b ... 2017-06-25" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
'"There's a question mark over that (England tour) because I've already signed my contract with CPL," Bravo said in reference to his deal with Caribbean Premier League T20 side Trinbago Knight Riders.'
Samuels said he wants to take a break from West Indies Test cricket...it doesn't take a genius to work out that he prefers to play CPL this year. As Lewis showed from his knock yesterday, he's more interested in a T20 career. It seems you are the one who has your head in the sand and don't understand what's happening to our cricket!
By not picking Nikita Miller, we can see why the Test team is rightly labelled a 'C' team. At this rate, we might suffer a couple of embarrassing losses in our warm up matches against the second elevens of Essex, Kent and Derbyshire.
Let's look at two players in county cricket:
Division One: Shiv Chanderpaul - 559 runs @ average of 79.85
Division Two: Chesney Hughes - 60 runs @ average of 10
It's pretty obvious who doesn't understand cricket!

Quite right, howzdat!howzdat wrote:Who was it touting it around these parts sometime back that Chesney may be open to a selection approach by the West Indies ... an average of 10 is about on the mark for many of the recent new picks ain't it!
Hetmyer is pulled from the Guyana CPL team...will Kieran Powell and Alzarri Joseph now pull out of the St Kitts squad?
CORRECTION: I see Alzarri is already out of the St Kitts squad, but Powell is still there.
