Afro you clearly don't know much about cricket or you would know that the left arm spinner imparts turn that can be very different from the legspinner. Chisoro played for Zimbabwe and he took three wickets. He is a left arm spinner.

Cremer is the legspinner who took lots of wickets in the first test. How did he do in our first innings? Not well but luckily they picked a left arm spinner to back up their part time off spinner. How is our part time off spinner faring?

Miller has better first class stats than Permaul or Motie. The fact that trough dwellers like you can't see that partly explains why the test team continues to languish in ninth place.

Raza gets his half century. It's all square now at 140-4. Roach has two wickets. Bishoo and Gabriel have one each. I hope we don't regret not picking a left arm spinner.

The angle is still pretty much the same YOU IDIOT!!..it leaves the right-handers and goes into the left-handers. And btw, was that same left-arm spinner bowling when Holder and Dowrich put up a HUNDRED RUN PARTNERSHIP?

Please stop talking your usual biased nonsense!!..Chase has a 5fer against your fathers country, he's more than able to back up Bishoo on this track. And furthermore, Miller was given his chance against bowler Bangladesh in a test AND FAILED!!..then he was picked constantly in the ODI's AND FLOPPED!!..so please wheel and come again duncy :D .

Have you ever bowled spin in your life? You're equating left-arm spin with legspin...please don't tell me that's not the bankrupt thinking of the WICB.
I suggest you read up on leg-spin, and all the different variations they can bowl. It's hard having a discussion with someone who is ignorant about spin bowling, and yet insists he's right....
Tea 259-7

Brathwaite 12 overs, 0-25
Chase, 14 overs, 0-26
Blackwood, 6 overs, 0-11

Three part-timers doing the work that could've been done by a specialist left-arm spinner.

zimbabwe are on the way to securing a draw with the West Indies, in the process knocking off some valuable Test ranking points from our tally. Would we have fared better with a specialist left-armer? I guess we'll never know now...but one thing we do know for sure, and that Chase just couldn't repeat his five-fer, and emulate Raza.

When your selections are poor, and you don't pick the best team, you get the result you deserve.

Yes, Kyle Hope and Jermaine Blackwood both disappointing with the bat but I reckon that they will persevere with Kyle, but at 28 years of age I would recall Darren Brave to the squad (if he is interested) or see how Hetmyer fares against New Zealand. Powell has done enough to earn himself selection for the immediate future. The keeping position, and fielding in general needs some attention, however Dorwich may have bought himself some time in the lineup,

Was Bishoo playing on the final day of this test match?
