Apparently, there are two "Tests" which were devoid of publicity....

1st unofficial Test, at Beckenham, Jul 4-7 2018

2nd unofficial Test, at Taunton, Jul 10-13 2018

16/7 - 11:00 AM BST
Tour Match, at London, Jul 16-19 2018
Surrey vs WI A

At the halfway stage of their first "Test", West Indies were in command.

Pacers Chemar Holder (4-57) and Sherman Lewis (4-35) dismissed India A for 133 all out, Vihari topscoring with 37.

West Indies A then made 383 all out, Sunil Ambris hitting 128, Shamar Brooks 91, Raymon Reifer 52, and Chandrapaul Hemraj 42. Rajpoot took 4-76.

What a turnaround!

In the second innings, India A compiled a mammoth 609-6 declared, thanks to 188 from Shaw, 137 from Samarth, 93 from Nair, and 68 from Agarwal.

Pacer Sherman Lewis took 4-130.

Set an unlikely target of 360, West Indies A limped to 245-7 at the close, hanging on for the draw, thanks mainly to Jermaine Blackwood's 61, and 40s from John Campbell, Sunil Ambris and Rahkeem Cornwall.

Nadeem 3-42

Once again, having outperformed the Indians on first innings, the West Indies threw it all away with a below-par second innings performance....

West Indies A 210 all out

John Campbell 61
Jermaine Blackwood 67

Siraj 4-64
Gurbani 3-64

The West Indies A have concluded a disappointing tour of England.

They lost every match of the one-day series...it doesn't make sense analysing that, because there are practically no challengers to the 50-overs side from that series.

The two "Tests" offered hope, but we still lost the series 1-0. What about individual performances?

Shemar Brooks made 224 runs at an average of 75
Sunil Ambris made 175 runs @ ave of 44
Jermaine Blackwood made 158 runs @ ave of 40
John Campbell made 148 runs @ ave of 37

There was not much else to talk about....

What about the bowling?

Lewis took 10 wickets at an average of 26
Reifer took eight wkts @ ave of 26

The rest of the bowlers averaged over 40. Warrican averaged 137!

Just six players worth talking about....
