That would be a new low, even for AfCrow and his fellow trough-dwellers....

West Indies will be without their captain Jason Holder because of a shoulder injury for the entire tour of Bangladesh, starting November 22. They will be led by vice-captain Kraigg Brathwaite for the two-Test series in Chittagong and Dhaka.

In 2009 the Bangladesh 2-0 Series victory was a surprise.

BWI select XI squad included two top domestic spinners Austin/Miller, a consistent top run scorer R Hinds, K Roach who went on to be the leader of the BWI pace attack plus the future Test, ODI and T20I Captain D Sammy but even with home advantage their combined efforts weren't enough to tame the tigers

Today I presume Bangladeshi victory wouldn't be such a shock to anybody, Holders loss can affect the team one of two ways, either they shrink and vanish or players will grow into the authority his absence affords them.
They will be led by vice-captain Kraigg Brathwaite for the two-Test series in Chittagong and Dhaka.
Will the BWI select XI set out to play draw cricket, is the South African fielding coach the best advocate for the Calypso style of cricket which won BWI cricket its flamboyant reputation :?:

Gils, it shows how far our Test team has sunk that we're now comparing it to the scab fourth-string teams of the past....

In the end, the only change to the team that did so well in India is an enforced one...Roach back in for the injured Holder.

That 4th string squad went on to amass 140+ Test appearances...and counting

Bangladesh's top score was 345. Along with 248,232 and 217.
