The West Indies are doing their best to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Leading by 128 on first innings, the Windies batted their way into a losing position on the third day in Port-of-Spain.

India continued to stamp their control on the penultimate day in Trinidad. India were reduced to 50-4, but there was no further success for the West Indies bowlers, as India went on to declare at 365-4.
