WE ARE ASKING YOU TO SHARE THIS INFORMATION ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA OUTLETS AND PERSONAL EMAILS

Below is a list of all the advertisers that aired during the 2/25/15 and 2/18/15 and 2/11/15 and 2/4/15 and 1/28/15 showing of the show Empire.

We are asking all that see the negative agenda of Fox by and through Lee Daniels continually perpetuated against the battered imagery about and against black people to please BOYCOTT as many companies on this list as possible.

We are not asking you to march in the cold or heat, we are not asking you raise your voice in protest, we are simply asking you to NOT. We are asking you to NOT take your time, energy, and money and support products provided by these advertisers, and save more of your hard earned money.

It is time we begin to bring balance back to the imagery of black people and demand programming that exemplifies our lives in the full scope and breadth of our existence, not the propagandized portrayal of the loud, angry and violent black woman, the often effeminized and homosexual black man, or the consistent portrayal of black men and women wanting people outside of their own people.

In fact, there is not a show on TV, scripted or reality TV that does not have characters that display one, or all of the negative characteristics and stereotypes listed above. It is time to change that, it is time to SAY NO, and it is time we demand better and more of ourselves, and our portrayals.

Please, we are simply asking you to share this message on social media, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, personal emails, and so forth. Those that can make memes, vines, videos provide pictures, etc to this campaign, please do so. If there is not a share option, please copy and paste the message and spread it. We need to start a national conversation about how we are portrayed in this country, and how that horrible imagery is projected around the world.
