Bolt holds the world record over 100m and 200m
Double Olympic sprint champion Usain Bolt fell short of breaking Michael Johnson's world record in the 300m at the IAAF World Challenge in Ostrava.
The Jamaican, 23, clocked 30.97seconds in his first competitive attempt at the distance, 0.12secs over Johnson's time.
However, Johnson set his mark 10 years ago at altitude in Pretoria, where thinner air provides less resistance.
