That's a Brit, Afro, I'm certainly not bothered. He's the second Brit after Warburton to fail a drug test.
8-)
I will be in Glasgow to watch the 200m, and if you take a look, you will see that the stands are sold out. So, while you may feel the sport is in the "gutter", you will be disappointed to see that the fans will be out in numbers next week....

Nobody can accuse you of being intelligent, Afro!
Neither Bolt nor SAFP were fit enough to run in the National Trials in Jamaica, and according to the JAAA's strict rules, neither were eligible to run "solo", as you put it. Both of them can only run in the relays, and both are fine. FYI, relay runners are drug-tested just as much as individual runners - stick with me, and you will actually learn something....

And unsurprisingly, a Jamaican takes the gold medal in the men's 100m in 10 seconds flat, ahead of Britain's Adam Gemeli (10.10), another Jamaican in third, Nickel Ashmeade (10.12), and Antoine Adams of St Kitts-Nevis (10.16). In the women's equivalent, Blessing Okagbare of Nigeria won in 10.85, while Jamaicans Veronica Campbell-Brown (11.02) and Kerron Stewart (11.05) took silver and bronze.

But there was another gold medal for Jamaica, this time in the men's shot put, with Odayne Richards winning with 21.61.

This means that so far in the athletics, only Kenya can match Jamaica in the medals table.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, Afro, but once again the morning session was sold out, and so was the evening session....

In front of another sell-out crowd, the Jamaican national anthem was played several times.

There was a Jamaica 1-2-3 in the women's 400m, as Steph McPherson won in 50.67, ahead of Novlene Williams-Mills (50.86) and Christine Day (51.09).

Another Jamaican, Kimberley Williams, won the women's triple jump with a leap of 14.21, while Trinidad's Ayanna Alexander came third with 14.01, and yet another Jamaican, Shaneika Thomas, came fourth.

Andrew Riley of Jamaica won the 110m hurdles in a time of 13.32, while Barbadian Shane Brathwaite took the bronze with 13.49.

And Kurt Felix of Grenada also got a bronze, in the men's decathlon.

I was in the middle of another sell-out crowd on Thursday evening, to watch Jamaica take a 1-2-3 in the men's 200m - Rasheed Dwyer, Warren Weir and Jason Livermore.

And I witnessed Jamaican Kaliese Spencer breaking Scottish hearts, when she won the women's 400m hurdles ahead of Scotland's Eilidh Child, and Janeve Russell, another Jamaican, taking third.

Jason Morgan made it six medals for Jamaica that evening, by securing bronze in the men's shot put....

There were three more gold medals for Jamaica in the relays last night....

The women won the mile relay in 3:23.83, and they won both sprint relays. The women were anchored to victory by Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce in 41.83, while the men triumphed with Usain Bolt at the helm in 37.58.

Trinidadian Keshorn Walcott secured silver in the men's javelin with a throw of 82.67.
