The men's 100m in the Doha Diamond League on Friday will feature Americans Justin Gatlin and Mike Rodgers up against the Caribbean contingent of Nesta Carter (Jamaica), Kim Collins (St Kitts-Nevis), and Keston Bledman (Trinidad), as well as Britain's James Dasaolu.

The women's 400m will be a Jamaica vs USA clash, with Americans Sanya Richards-Ross, Natasha Hastings and Francena McCrorory taking on Jamaicans Steph MacPherson, Novlene Williams-Mills, and Christine Day.

The men's 400m hurdles will feature Roxroy Cato of Jamaica and Bahamian Jeffery Gibson, while Keshorn Walcott of Trinidad will be among the participants in the men's javelin, and Jamaican O'Dayne Richards will take part in the men's shot putt.

St Lucian Levern Spencer is down to participate in the women's high jump, and Anthonique Strachan of the Bahamas will be running in the women's 200m.

Justin Gatlin of the USA threw down the gauntlet in the men's 100m at the Diamond League meet in Doha, clocking a world-leading 9.74 to win convincingly ahead of compatriot Mike Rodgers (9.96) and Trinidad's Keston Bledman (10.01).

American Allyson Felix was impressive in winning the women's 200m in 21.98, ahead of Murielle Ahoure of the Ivory Coast (22.29) and Bahamian Anthonique Strachan (22.69).

It was an American 1-2 in the women's 400m, Francena McCrorory winning in 50.21, ahead of Sanya Richards-Ross (50.79), while Jamaicans Steph MacPherson (50.93) and Novlene Williams-Mills (51.28) came third and fourth respectively.

The women's 100m at the Shanghai Diamond League meet on Sunday will feature Jamaicans Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Veronica Campbell-Brown, and Schillonie Calvert against Trinidadian Michelle-Lee Ahye, Nigeria's Blessing Okagbare, and American Tori Bowie.

Grenadian Kirani James and Trinidad's Renny Quow will take on American Lashawn Merritt over the men's 400m. The men's 200m will feature Jamaicans Nickel Ashmeade, Julian Forte and Rasheed Dwyer against Panama's Alonso Edward and Churandy Martina of the Netherlands.

In the women's 400m hurdles, Jamaican Kaliese Spencer will go up against Americans Lashinda Demus and Kori Carter. Andrew Riley of Jamaica will be up against Americans Aries Merritt, David Oliver and Jason Richardson in the 110m hurdles.

Jamaica's Jason Morgan will compete in the men's discus, Trinidad's Cleopatra Borel in the women's shot putt, and Jamaican Damar Forbes will compete in the men's long jump.

Grenada's Kirani James destroyed the field to win the men's 400m at the Shanghai Diamond League meet yesterday, in a time of 44.66, way ahead of Americans Tony McQuay (45.54) and Lashawn Merritt (45.58).

Jamaican Kaliese Spencer won the women's 400m hurdles in a time of 54.71, ahead of Americans Tiffany Williams (55.27) and Cassandra Tate (55.68).

Panama's Alonso Edward won the men's 200m in a time of 20.33, ahead of Jamaicans Julian Forte (20.36), Nickel Ashmeade (20.44) and Rasheed Dwyer (20.56).

Nigerian Blessing Okagbare won the women's 100m in a time of 10.98, ahead of Tori Bowie of the US (11.07), Trinidad's Michelle-Lee Ahye (11.13), and Jamaicans Veronica Campbell-Brown (11.22) and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (11.25).

New Jamaican sprint sensation Elaine Thompson will go up against compatriot Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Trinidad's Michelle-Lee Ahye, Nigerian Blessing Okagbare, Michelle Ahoure of the Ivory Coast, and Americans Tori Bowie and Carmelita Jeter over 100m at the Eugene Diamond League meet this weekend. Kelly-Ann Baptiste of Trinidad will compete in a B race against Americans Jeneba Tarmoh and English Gardner.

The men's 400m will see another clash between Grenada's Kirani James and his American rival, Lashawn Merritt, Youssel Masrahi of Saudi Arabia, and Chris Brown of the Bahamas. In the women's equivalent, Jamaicans Steph MacPherson, Novlene Williams-Mills and Christine Day will take on Americans Sanya Richards-Ross, Allyson Felix and Natasha Hastings.

The men's 200m will feature Jamaicans Nickel Ashmeade, Rasheed Dwyer and Julian Forte against Panama's Alonso Edward and American Justin Gatlin. Jamaica's Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce set a new world leading time, clocking 10.81 to win the women's 100m at the Diamond League meeting at Eugene in Oregon yesterday. She just pipped Muriel Ahoure of the Ivory Coast, who clocked the same time, and American Tori Bowie (10.82).

It was also close going in the women's 100m B race, with English Gardner of the US winning in 10.84, just finishing ahead of new Jamaican sensation Elaine Thompson, who clocked the same time. American Tyson Gay won the men's 100m in 9.88, ahead of compatriot Mike Rodgers (9.90), with Kim Collins of St Kitts-Nevis fourth in 9.99.

Kirani James of Grenada (43.95) kept up his domination of his American rival, Lashawn Merritt (44.51), in the men's 400m. It was an American 1-2 in the women's equivalent, with Allyson Felix (50.05) winning ahead of Sanya Richards-Ross (50.29) and Jamaican Steph MacPherson (50.49).

Justin Gatlin of the US won the men's 200m in 19.68, with Jamaican Nickel Ashmeade third in 20.18.

Jamaicans Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Sherone Simpson, Kerron Stewart and Simone Facey will go up against Anthonique Strachan of the Bahamas and American Jeneba Tarmoh in the women's 200m, at the Rome Diamond League meet on Thursday.

Americans Justin Gatlin and Mike Rodgers will take on Kim Collins of St Kitts-Nevis and Jamaicans Nesta Carter and Andrew Fisher in the men's 100m. Antiguan Daniel Bailey and Julian Forte of Jamaica will take part in the B race.

Jamaica's Janieve Russell will be in the women's 400m hurdles, and Trinidad's Jehue Gordon will be in the men's equivalent, while his compatriot, Wayne Davis, and Jamaican Andrew Riley, will participate in the 110m hurdles.

The women's 400m will feature Jamaicans Steph MacPherson, Novlene Williams-Mills and Christine Day taking on Americans Francena McCrorory and Natasha Hastings.

Jamaica's O'dayne Richards will take part in the men's shot putt, and Trinidadian Keshorn Walcott will participate in the men's javelin.

American Justin Gatlin stormed to victory in the men's 100m at the Rome Diamond League meet yesterday, winning in 9.75, way ahead of compatriot Mike Rodgers and Jimmy Vicault of France, both clocking 9.98, while Jamaica's Nesta Carter was fourth in 10.06.

In a slow women's 200m, Jeneba Tarmoh of the USA won in 22.77, ahead of Jamaicans Kerron Stewart (22.88) and Simone Facey (22.91), with Anthonique Strachan of the Bahamas fourth in 22.91. The women's 400m was won by American Francena McCrorory in 50.36, ahead of Jamaica's Steph MacPherson (50.53) and another American, Natasha Hastings in third (50.67).

Vesely won the men's javelin with 88.14, with Kenya's Julius Yego second with 87.71, and Trinidadian Keshorn Walcott third with 86.20.

At the Birmingham Diamond League on Sunday, two heats of the men's 100m will feature Jamaicans Nesta Carter and Julian Forte, Trinidadian Keston Bledman, Kim Collins of St Kitts-Nevis, and Cayman's Kemar Hyman, up against American Mike Rodgers and Brits Adam Gemeli, Richard Kilty and CJ Ujah.

In the women's 400m hurdles, Kaliese Spencer of Jamaica will take on Americans Lashinda Demus and Kori Carter, as well as Brit Elidh Child, and Czechs Zuzana Hejnova and Denisa Rosolova. In the women's 200m, Simon Facey of Jamaica and Bahamian Anthonique Strachan will go up against Americans Allyson Felix and Jeneba Tarmoh, as well as Britain's Dina Asher-Smith and Bianca Williams.

Trinidad's Jarrin Solomon, Chris Brown of the Bahamas, and Britain's Delano Williams, who hails from the Turks and Caicos, will take part in the men's 300m, while Jamaicans Steph MacPherson and Christine Day will participate in the women's 400m.

Jamaican Steph MacPherson won the women's 400m at the Birmingham Diamond League meet in a time of 52.15, ahead of Geisa Coutinho of Brazil (52.59) and Brit Anika Onuora (52.75).

Kaliese Spencer of Jamaica continued her domination of the women's 400m hurdles, winning in 54.45, ahead of American Cassandra Tate (54.75) and Zuzana Hejnova of the Czech Republic (55.00).

Germany's Christina Schwarnitz won the women's shot putt with a throw of 19.68, ahead of Trinidad's Cleopatra Borel (18.80) and American Tia Brooks (18.67). V. Vesely of the Czech Republic won the men's javelin with a throw of 88.18, ahead of Kenya's Julius Yego (86.53) and Trinidadian Keshorn Walcott (86.43).

The men's 100m was won by American Marvin Bracy in 9.93, ahead of his compatriot Mike rodgers and Britain's Adam Gemeli, who both clocked 9.97, and Jamaica's Nesta Carter, fourth in 10 seconds flat.
