At the opening Diamond League meet at Doha, Steven Gardiner of the Bahamas won the men's 400m in a national record of 43.87, ahead of Qatar's Haroun (44.50) and Isaac Makwala of Botswana (44.92).

The men's 200m was won by Noah Lyles of the US in a time of 19.83, ahead of Trinidadian Jereem Richards (19.99) and Ramil Guliyev of Turkey (20.11).

Jamaican Omar McLeod won a star-studded 110m hurdles in a time of 13.16, ahead of Cuban-born Spaniard Orlando Ortega (13.17). Russia's Sergei Shubenkov came third in 13.27, followed by Jamaicans Ronald Levy (13.33) and Hansle Parchment (13.48).

Steven Gardiner of the Bahamas won the men's 400m in 43.99, ahead Isaac Makwala of Botswana (44.23) and Abdul Haroun (44.52). American Delilah Muhammed won the women's 400m hurdles in 53.77, just pipping Jamaica's Janieve Russell (53.78).

Shaunae Miller of the Bahamas continued her dominance of the women's 200m, winning in 22.06, ahead of Dafne Schippers of the Netherlands (22.34) and Jamaican Shericka Jackson (22.36).

Colombian Caterine Ibarguen won the women's triple jump with a leap of 14.80, ahead of Jamaicans Shaneika Ricketts (14.55) and Kimberly Williams (14.35). The women's shot putt was won by home-town heroine Lijiao Gong with a throw of 19.99, ahead of Jamaica's Danielle Thomas-Dodd (18.70).

At the Jamaica International Invitational in Kingston on Saturday, local Jamaican 18-year old progidy Christopher Taylor won the men's 200m in 20.49, relegating more established stars Lashawn Merritt of the US (20.70) and South African Anaso Jobodhwana (20.72) to second and third respectively.

At the Eugene Diamond League yesterday, Jamaica's Janieve Russell clocked 54.06 to come from behind to pip Delilah Muhammed of the US (54.06) on the line in the women's 400m.

Another Jamaican, Omar McLeod, continued his dominance of the 110m hurdles, winning in 13.01, ahead of Russia's sergei Shubenkov (13.08) and Devon Allen of the US (13.13).

American Noah Lyles convincingly won the men's 200m in a world-leading 19.69, ahead of Trinidad's Jereem Richards (20.05) and Aaron Brown of Canada (20.07).

It was an Ivory Coast 1-2 in the women's 100m, won by MJ Ta Lou in 10.88, ahead of Murielle Ahoure (10.90). Jamaican Elaine Thompson came third in 10.98, with Dafne Schippers of the Netherlands fourth in 11.01.

Shaunae miller of the Bahamas clocked 49.52 to win the women's 400m by a country mile.

At the Rome Diamond League meet yesterday, Jamaica's Frederick Dacres threw 68.51 to win the men's discus, ahead of Andrius Gudzius of Lithuania (68.17) and Iranian Ehsan Hadadi (65.93).

The women's 400m hurdles was won by American Georganne Moline in 53.97, ahead of Jamaica's Janieve Russell (54.08), and another American, Delilah Muhammed, who clocked 54.65.

Sharika Nelvis of the US won the 100m hurdles in 12.76, to finish ahead of Jamaican Danielle Williams (12.82) and Nigeria's Tobi Amusan (12.86).

The women's 400m was won by Bahrain's Salwa Naser in 50.51, ahead of Jamaican Steph McPherson (50.69) and Jade Stepter of the US (51.47).

At the Oslo Diamond League yesterday, Jamaica's Danielle Williams won the 100m hurdles in a time of 12.60, finishing ahead of Alina Talay of Belarus (12.63) and American Queenie Harrison (US) 12.71.

The women's 100m was won by Murielle Ahoure of the Ivory Coast in 10.91, ahead of Britain's Dina Asher-Smith (10.92) and Trinidadian Michelle-Lee Ahye (11.06).

The men's 200m was won by Turkey's Ramil Guliyev in 19.90, ahead of Canadian Aaron Brown (19.98) and Trinidad's Jereem Richards (20.19).

The women's triple jump was won by Colombian Caterine Ibarguen in 14.89, ahead of Tori Franklin of the US (14.57) and Jamaicans Kimberley Williams (14.50) and Shaneika Ricketts (14.44).

The men's high jump was won by Essa Barshim of Qatar in 2.36, ahead of Russia's Danil Lysenko (2.33) and Bahamian Donald Thomas (2.25).

At the Stockholm Diamond League, Jamaican Frederick Dacres threw a world-leading personal best of 69.67 to win the men's discus, ahead of his main rival this year, Andrius Godzius of Lithuania, who threw 69.59, and Iran's Ehsan Hadadi (67.68).

The women's 100m was won by Britain's Dina Asher-Smith in 10.93, ahead of Murielle Ahoure of the Ivory Coast (11.03) and Trinidadian Michelle-Lee Ahye (11.11).

The 100m hurdles was won by American Brianna Rollins-McNeal in an impressive 12.38, ahead of Jamaica's Danielle Williams (12.48) and Alina Talay of Belarus (12.55).

At the Paris Diamond League yesterday, there was a Jamaica one-two in the 110m hurdles. Ronald Levy won 13.18, ahead of Hansle Parchment (13.22), and American Devon Allen (13.23).

Frederick Dacres of Jamaica continued his dominance of the men's discus, winning with a throw of 67.01, way ahead of German Christoph Harting (64.80) and Poland's Robert Urbanek (64.68).

Jamaica's Shericka Jackson won the women's 200m in a PB of 22.05, ahead of American Jenna Prandini (22.30) and MJ Ta Lou of the Ivory Coast (22.50). The men's equivalent was won by sensational American Michael Norman in 19.84, ahead of Antigua's Rai Benjamin, the son of former West Indies cricketer Winston, who clocked 19.99 for second.

Abdurrahman Samba of Qatar stormed to victory in the men's 400m hurdles in 46.98, the second-fastest of all time in this event! Kyron McMaster of the BVI came second in 47.54, followed by Norway's Kirsten Warholm (48.06).

Caterine Ibarguen of Colombia won the women's triple jump with a leap of 14.83, ahead of Jamaican Kimberley Williams (14.56) and Tori Franklin of the US (14.49).

At the Lausanne Diamond League last week, MJ Ta Lou of the Ivory Coast won the women's 100m in 10.90, ahead of Jamaican Elaine Thompson (10.99) and Jenna Prandini of the US (11.00).

American Shamier Little won the women's 400m hurdles in a time of 53.41, ahead of Jamaica's Janieve Russell (53.46) and another American, Georganne Moline (53.90). It's not often that three hurdlers go under 54 seconds.

American Gabrielle Thomas won the women's 200m in a time of 22.47, ahead of Jamila Samuel of the Netherlands (22.68) and Jamaica's Shericka Jackson (22.84).
