Ejoy a beautiful city.....
Do you think I'd go on the internet in Rome to follow this crap?
Never been before...been to Venice, Milan, Trieste and Turin, but never Rome.
Yes you are dedicated!! Lol

Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi etc will keep you busy.
Had a very good time....

The Trevi Fountain was close for refurbishing, but we still went there...twice!

Went to the Pantheon, and enjoyed it. Went to the Spanish Steps, and enjoyed it. Went to the Colosseum and the surrounding Roman ruins, and enjoyed them. Went to the Borghese Gallery, and enjoyed it. Ate a lot of Italian food, and enjoyed it!

Unfortunately not....
I did go to the Vatican, though, visited the Sistine Chapel, and the Vatican museums, and while I thoroughly enjoyed the art and sculptures, I was shocked at the way the Roman Catholic Church came across as greedy, avaricious and seems to have lost all touch with the origins of the religion.

I am still confused as to why the same people/country who nailed Christ on the cross has the largest followers in Christianity!

Will they destroy Christianity as they did the once powerhouse Rome?

Now, I'm off to Amsterdam for a few days...the way Afro ah gwaan, I expect to come back and hear that the West Indies cricketers are at the top of the rankings, the way the Jamaicans finished on top of the World Athletics Champs medal table. Do let me know if that happens while I'm away....
