It was a Jamaican 1-2 in the 110m hurdles, at the Doha Diamond League yesterday, as Omar McLeod won in a world-leading 13.05, ahead of Hansle Parchment (13.10), and Cuban Orlando Ortega (13.15), who now runs for Spain.

American Lashawn Merritt won the men's 400m in 44.41, ahead of Trinidad's Machel Cedenio (44.68). There was an upset in the women's 100m, as American Torri Bowie won in 10.80, ahead of Dafne Schippers of the Netherlands (10.83), and Jamaica's veteran Veronica Campbell-Brown (10.91).

Britain's Elidh Child-Doyle won the women's 400m hurdles in 54.54, ahead of Adekoya of Bahrain (54.87), and Jamaican Kaliese Spencer (55.02). Ameer Webb of the US won the men's 200m in 19.85, ahead of Panamanian Alonso Edward (20.06).

Once again, it was a Jamaican 1-2 in a Diamond League 110m hurdles event, and this time it was Shanghai yesterday. Omar McLeod ran a world-leading 12.98, with second once again going to Hansle Parchment in 13.12.

The women's 400m was won by Shauana Miller of the Bahamas in 50.45, ahead of Jamaica's Steph MacPherson (50.98), and American Natasha Hastings (51.10), with another Jamaican, veteran Novlene Williams-Mills, coming in fourth in 51.96.

Murielle Ahoure of the Ivory Coast took the women's 200m in 22.72, ahead of Jamaicans Veronica Campbell-Brown (22.82) and Anneisha McLaughlin-WIlby (22.94). Justin Gatlin of the USA won the men's 100m in 9.94, ahead of Qatar's Femi Ogunode (10.07), another American, Mike Rodgers (10.10), and Kim Collins of St Kitts-Nevis (10.17).

Jamaican superstar Usain Bolt opened his European season with an easy 9.98 win over the men's 100m at Ostrava yesterday. Ramon Gittens of Barbados finished a distant second in 10.21.

Christine Day of Jamaica won the women's 400m in 51.09, ahead of Canadian Carline Muir (51.84), and American Jessica Beard (51.88). The men's equivalent was won by Jamaican Javon Francis in 44.90, ahead of American Tony McQuay (45.17) and Pavel Maslak of the Czech Republic (45.46).

Joanna Linkiewicz of Poland took the women's 400m hurdles in 55.40, ahead of Jamaica's Kaliese Spencer (55.43) and Czech Zuzanna Hejnova (55.60).

At the inaugural Rabat Diamond League yesterday, Jamaican Elaine Thompson won the women's 100m in a time of 11.02, ahead of Nigeria's Blessing Okagbare (11.11), and another Jamaican, Kerron Stewart (11.19).

Jamaica's Janieve Russell won the women's 400m hurdles in 54.61, ahead of American Cassandra Tate (54.69).

There were some outstanding times at the Eugene Diamond League event this weekend!

Running before a sold-out crowd, Jamaican Omar McLeod continued his dominance of the 110m hurdles, winning in 13.06, well ahead of Americans David Oliver (13.38) and Jeff Porter (13.48).

Grenada's Kirani James won the men's 400m with a clocking of 44.22, edging out rival Lashawn Merritt of the USA (44.39), while Botswana's Makwala came third in 45.39, and Trinidadian Machel Cedenio fourth in 45.45. The women's equivalent was won by Bahamian Shaunae Miller in 50.15, ahead of Americans Francena McCrorory (50.25) and Natasha Hastings (50.84), and Jamaicans Steph MacPherson (51.07) and Shericka Jackson (51.34).

The men's 100m was won by American Justin Gatlin with a wind-aided time of 9.88, ahead of Jamaican Asafa Powell (9.94) and another American, Tyson Gay (9.98). The women's 200m was won by Tori Bowie of the US in 21.99, ahead of Dafne Schippers of the Netherlands (22.11) and Jamaican Elaine Thompson (22.16).

American Chaunte Lowe won the women's high jump with a leap of 1.95, ahead of Lavern Spencer of St Lucia (1.92).

there were some exciting races at the Rome Diamond League yesterday, in front of a sold-out crowd.

Jamaica's Elaine Thompson won the women's 200m in a time of 10.87, to finish ahead of Americans English Gardner (10.92) and Barbara Pierre (11.13).

Jamaican Janieve Russell won the women's 400m hurdles in a world-leading 53.96, ahead of Theron Nel of South Africa (54.61) and Britain's Elidh Child-Doyle (54.81).

South African Wayde van Niekerk won the men's 400m in 44.19, ahead of Bralon Taplin of Grenada (44.43). The women's triple jump was won by the unbeatable Caterine Ibarguen of Colombia with a leap of 14.78, ahead of Kazakhstan's Olga Rybakova (14.51), and Jamaicans Shaneika Thomas (14.46) and Kimberley Williams (14.38).

Jamaican Frederick Dacres was fourth in the men's discus with a throw of 63.50, Trinidad's Cleopatra Borel was fourth in the women's shot putt with a throw of 18.36, and Shane Brathwaite of Barbados was fourth in the 110m hurdles with a time of 13.64.

In front of another sold-out crowd yesterday at the Birmingham Diamond League meet, 40-year old Kim Collins of St Kitts-Nevis won the 100m in 10.11, just pipping American Mike Rodgers, who clocked the same time, and Britain's CJ Ujah (10.12), while another Briton, Adam Gemeli, finished sixth in 10.29.

Kirani James of Grenada won the men's 400m in 44.23, ahead of Botswana's Isaac Makwala (44.98) and American Vernon Norwood (45.07). Floria Guei of France won the women's equivalent in 50.84, ahead of Jamaica's Christine Day (51.09).

The women's shot putt was won by Tia Brooks of the US with 19.73, ahead of New Zealand's Valerie Adams (19.63), and Trinidadian Cleopatra Borel (18.78).

The women's 100m was won by American English Gardner in 11.02, ahead of Dafne Schippers of the Netherlands (11.09) and another American, Tianna Bartoletta (11.11).

Jamaica's Kimberley Williams came fourth in the women's triple jump with 14.36, and Tyrone Smith of Bermuda came fourth in the men's long jump with 8.18.

Sorry, Afro, your boy Gemeli got hammered by a 40-year old from St Kitts!

At the Oslo Diamond League last night, Jamaica's Steph MacPherson won the women's 400m in 51.04, ahead of American Natasha Hastings (51.38) and another Jamaican, Novlene Williams-Mills (51.66).

Dafne Schippers of the Netherlands destroyed the field in the women's 200m, winning in 21.93, ahead of Jamaican Elaine Thompson (22.64), Bulgaria's Ivet Lalova (22.78), and another Jamaican, Simone Facey (22.88).

Canadian Andre De Grasse won the men's 100m in 10.07, ahead of American Mike Rodgers (10.09). Veteran Kim Collins of St Kitts-Nevis pulled up injured. Is this the end of his career?

There was a German 1-2 in the men's javelin, Thomas Rohler winning with 89.30, and Johann Vetter second with 87.11. Olympic champion Keshorn Walcott of Trinidad was third with 86.35.

In cold and rainy conditions in Stockholm last night, Jamaican veteran Novlene Williams-Mills won the women's 400m in 52.29, ahead of Britain's Anyika Onuora (52.46) and Libania Grenot of Italy (52.62).

The women's 200m was won by Dina Asher-Smith of Britain in 22.72, ahead of Jamaican Simone Facey (22.81) and another Brit, Desiree Henry (22.88).

Jak Ali Harvey, a Jamaican now running for Turkey, who the men's 100m in 10.18, ahead of Meiti of the Ivory Coast (10.25) and Antigua's Daniel Bailey (10.31).

American Christian Taylor won the men's triple jump with 17.59, while second went to Guyana's Troy Doris (16.70).

At the Diamond League meet in Monaco on Friday, Damar Forbes of Jamaica won the men's long jump with a leap of 8.23, to finish ahead of Australian Fabrice Lapierre (8.21), and China's Gao Xinglong (8.00).

Wayde van Niekerk of South Africa won the men's 400m in 44.12, ahead of Trinidadian Machel Cedenio (44.32) and Grenada's Bralon Taplin (44.38).

Dafne Schippers of the Netherlands won the women's 100m in 10.95, to finish ahead of Jamaican Veronica Campbell-Brown (11.12) and South Africa's Carina Horn (11.14).

Colombian Caterine Ibarguen won the women's triple jump with a leap of 14.96, to finish ahead of Venezuela's Yulimar Rojas (14.64) and Kimberley Williams of Jamaica (14.47).
