At the Rabat Diamond League yesterday, Jamaican Akeem Bloomfield clocked 44.33 to win the men's 400m, ahead of Abdullah Haroun (44.69) of Qatar and Britain's Matthew Hudson-Smith (44.79).

Shaunae Miller of the Bahamas won the women's 200m in 22.29, ahead of Britain's Dina Asher-Smith (22.40), and Americans Jenna Prandini (22.60) and Gabrielle Thomas (22.70).

Francine Niyonsaba of Burundi won the women's 800m in 1:57.90, ahead of Jamaican Natoya Goule (1:58.33) and Morrocco's Rababe Arafi (1:58.84).

Caterine Ibarguen of Colombia continued her domination of the women's triple jump with a leap of 14.96, to finish ahead of Jamaica's Kimberley Williams (14.49) and American Tori Franklin (14.42).

At the Monaco Diamond League yesterday, Shaunae Miller of the Bahamas won a scintillating women's 400m in a world-leading 48.97, ahead of Bahrain's Salwa Nasser, who clocked a PB of 49.08, with third place going to American Shakima Wimbley (50.85).

The 100m hurdles was won by American Queen Harrison in 12.64, ahead of her compatriot Dawn Harper-Nelson (12.90) and Jamaican Yanique Thompson (12.92).

There was an Ivory Coast 1-2 in the women's 100m, won by Marie-Josee Ta Lou in 10.89, ahead of Murielle Ahoure (11.01) and Jamaica's Elaine Thompson (11.02).

Caster Semenya of South Africa won the women's 800m in 1:54.60, ahead of Burundi's Francine Niyonsaba (1:55.96) and Jamaican Natoya Goule (1:56.15).

Jamaican veteran Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce signalled her return to competitive action after becoming a mother, when she won the women's 100m in a time of 10.98 at the London Anniversary Games yesterday. She finished ahead of American Dezerea Bryant (11.04) and another Jamaican, Jonielle Smith (11.07).

Shamier Little of the US won the women's 400m hurdles in 53.95, just ahead of Jamaica's Janieve Russell (53.96) in an exciting finish, with Delilah Muhammed third in 54.86.

Abdullah Haroun of Qatar won the men's 400m in 44.07, ahead of American Paul Dedewo (44.35), and Grenada's Kirani James (44.50), returning after a long period of illness.

Ronnie Baker of the US won the men's 100m in 9.90, ahead of Britain's Zharnel Hughes (9.93), South African Akani Simbine (9.94), and Jamaican Yohan Blake (9.95).

On the second day of the London Anniversary Games, there was a Jamaica 1-2 in the women's 400m, won by Steph McPherson in 50.31, ahead of Anastasia Leroy ((50.85), with third going to Courtney Okolo of the US (50.93).

The 110m hurdles was won by Jamaican Ronald Levy in 13.13, ahead of Americans Devon Allen (13.30) and Freddie Crittenden (13.33).

The men's 200m was won by Jamaican Akeem Bloomfield in 19.81, ahead of Panama's Alonso Edward (20.01) and Alex Quinonez of Ecuador (20.13). In the women's equivalent, there was an American 1-2, won by Jenna Prandini in 22.16, ahead of Gabrielle Thomas (22.19), and Jamaica's Shericka Jackson (22.22).

The women's 800m was won by American Ceaira Brown in 1:58.57, ahead of Jamaica Natoya Goule of Jamaica (1:58.67), and Britain's Lynsey Sharp (1:59.34).

At the Birmingham Diamond League, Shaunae Miller-Uibo of the Bahamas maintained her unbeaten record for 2018 when she won the women's 200m in a time of 22.15, to finish ahead of Britain's Dina Asher-Smith (22.31), Dafne Schippers of the Netherlands (22.41) and Jamaican Shericka Jackson (22.55).

The women's 400m hurdles was won by Lea Sprunger of Switzerland in 54.86, ahead of Jamaican Janieve Russell (54.91) and Britain's Meghan Beasley (55.83).

Luvo Manyonga of South Africa won the men's long jump with a leap of 8.53 metres, ahead of Jamaica's Tajay Gayle (8.17) and Australian Henry Frayne (8.01).

Orlando Ortega of Spain won the 110m hurdles in 13.08, ahead of Jamaican Ronald Levy (13.22) and France's Pascal Martinot-Lagarde (13.27).

At the first of two Diamond League finals, at Zurich last night Kyron McMaster of the British Virgin Islands won the men's 400m hurdles in a time of 48.08, to finish ahead of Norway's Karsten Warholm (48.10) and Cuban-Turk Yasmani Capello (48.83).

There was an American 1-2 in the women's equivalent, with Delilah Muhammed winning in 53.88, ahead of Shamier Little (54.21), with Janieve Russell of Jamaica coming in third with 54.38.

The women's triple jump was won by Colombia's Caterine Ibarguen with a leap of 14.56, ahead of Jamaicans Shanieka Ricketts (14.55) and Kimberley Williams (14.47).

South African Caster Semenya, unbeaten over the women's 800m this season, came out victorious in that event in a time of 1:55.27, ahead of Ajee Wilson of the US (1:57.86) and Jamaica's Natoya Goule (1:58.49).

Noah Lyles of the US won the men's 200m in 19.67, ahead of Turkey's Ramil Guliyev (19.98) and Trinidadian Jereem Richards (20.04).

There was a South African 1-2 in the men's long jump, won by Luvo Manyongo with a leap of 8.36, ahead of Ruswahi Samaai (8.42), Australian Henry Frayne (8.16), and Jamaica's Tajaay Gayle (8.15).

In the second Diamond League final at Brussels, Jamaican Frederick Dacres won the men's discus with a throw of 68.67, finishing ahead of Andrius Gudzius of Lithuania (67.56) and Sweden's Daniel Stahl (66.74).

Shaunae Miller-Uibo of the Bahamas won the women's 200m in 22.12, ahead of Dutch girls Dafne Schippers (22.53) and Jamile Samuel (22.64).

Russian Sergei Shubenkov won the 110m hurdles in 12.97, finishing ahead of Spain's Orlando Ortega (13.10) and Hansle Parchment of Jamaica (13.35).

There was an American 1-2 in the men's 100m, won by Christian Coleman in 9.79, ahead of Ronnie Baker (9.93), and Jamaica's Yohan Blake (9.94).

There was also an American 1-2 in the 100m hurdles, won by Brianna McNeal in 12.61, ahead of Kendra Harrison (12.63) and Danielle Williams of Jamaica (12.64).
