I KNOW MI FANS BEEN WAITING

Postby AFRO » Tue Nov 27, 2018 8:33 pm

FI ME TO TURN UP, SO HERE I AM DUNCIES, IN DI FLESH

So what cyan I say? Unnu bawl dat me not been around lately but unlike you skunts I ACTUALLY HAVE A LIFE AND A BIG JOB!!! . Ever since mi get a PROMOTION within di ranks of di progressive movement, tings have been hectic to rhatid, so making time to argue with wukless fools online is a hard task, but right now me got a lickle time, so bring it on :D .

1. Say what you want about Bang, dem man beat Australia and England In a test In recent times. They are NOT the same team who everyone used to beat up on, especially at HOME where they make raging turners and unleash nothing but spinners.

2. They just had a test series whilst our boys haven't played a test since the india series several months ago, there was bound to be rush involved.

3. Our team Is young and don't have a settled coaching staff around them at the moment. Jimmy, RP and Gravesy are working hard to put together a good coaching unit to take us forward, but it's gonna take time.

4. You skunts need to realise that it's not our fault if the territories keep producing subpar cricketers. Every country has a duty to put the right foundations in place so that our young cricketers can prosper in the long term. But when only half the teams (Guy, Trin and Bim) are committed to doing that, then it's always gonna be tough

We In the progressive movement have fought hard In order to push the board into doing it's part to help improve our cricket. The franchise league WAS OUR IDEA, sending our u15s to England to gain experience every year WAS OUR IDEA, putting pressure on di wukless jam board to create a franchise league WAS OUR DOING, connecting with Canada and the USA so our yutes can play in their domestic competitions and play more cricket WAS OUR IDEA. Allowing a B team and u19s to play In the super50 was also our brainchild. So we're doing our best to put the vital pieces in place so that we can one day see progress.

BUT, we must also remember that there is 20 plus years of neglect that has set root in our cricket and it's hard to get that stain away In a short period. The neglect was systematic for so many years and some of it still hasn't been addressed. But still, we continue to fight whilst you big mouths talk online, like it's only been misery and we never won five world cups in six years

Anyway, das all me have fi now!!!..

FORWARD!!!

Good to see trough-dwellers getting promotions while the West Indies continue to decline in all three formats. This is easily the worst WI Test team since the pre-WWII years.
8-)
1) I see you talking about the achievements of Bangladesh to cover the decline of this Test side. I see you talking about Australia and England, and fail to mention Zimbabwe. Well, let's take a look at their home Test series since 2016. Australia drew that series 1-1. England drew that series 1-1. Even Zimbabwe also won a Test in Bangladesh, and drew that series 1-1. So, if we don't win the second Test, we've done worse than Zimbabwe in Bangladesh!

2) Poor excuse for a lack of preparation. Clearly, Bangladesh prepared properly for us while the WICB prepared to fail.

3) This young team excuse has been used regularly since the late 1990s. It's getting tiring now. Come up with a new one!

4) You small-islanders need to stop trying to blame Jamaica for your demise. There are no Jamaicans in this Worst Ever Test Team (WETT). The question you need to be addressing is despite your claim that Barbados, Guyana and Trinidad are putting in place the "right foundations", these cricketers are still well below world-class at Test level.

All we now have is the past achievements to live on....

The franchise system is flawed. You don't solve the problem by just throwing money at it. As we saw in the Regional Super50, a bunch of amateur university students beat the paid professionals to win the tournament.

The ICC Test rankings don't lie. The West Indies are a lowly eighth on 76 points, and just lost a Test to the ninth-ranked Bangladesh.

LOL it's funny how when we lost some test matches, massa mike want to bring up "this is the worst team, blah blah blah". BUT WHEN WE MENTIONED THAT WE WIN FIVE WORLD CUPS UNDER OUR LEADERSHIP, "it has nothing to do with the board, it's all the players doing"!!..what a BIASED SKUNT you are

1) I see you talking about the achievements of Bangladesh to cover the decline of this Test side. I see you talking about Australia and England, and fail to mention Zimbabwe. So, if we don't win the second Test, we've done worse than Zimbabwe in Bangladesh!

They had just played a test series against Zim, our guys hadn't played long form cricket in a good while. And on top of that their team has been together for years whilst our team has quite a few new faces involved due to your senior boyfriends choosing GREED over the region  .

2) Poor excuse for a lack of preparation. Clearly, Bangladesh prepared properly for us while the WICB prepared to fail.

We have no head coach because that skunt ran off before he was due to. Couple that with the loss of key players like Holder and Gabriel, then it was always gonna be tough. Bang are not the lowly minnows they once were and by preparing their raging turners they have created a genuine home advantage for themselves now.

3) This young team excuse has been used regularly since the late 1990s. It's getting tiring now. Come up with a new one!

So you're saying the team isn't young? :| Powell was the oldest batsmen in the team and he is around 27. Meanwhile, our pace attack lost two key players and again had to rely on youth. It was always gonna be a tough task.

Darren Bravo, Narine, Dwayne Bravo, Gabriel, Ramdin, Pollard etc have performed at the top level in different formats and are WORLD CUP WINNERS. Roach, Kraigg etc have proven themselves to be very decent test players etc. How many Jamaicans have come through lately to be top class in different formats? Russell? And who else? As one of the biggest countries in the region the cricket structure there has been PATHETIC and we let them know about it, hence why dem now trying to fix it 8-)

All we now have is the past achievements to live on....

Yeah, like FIVE WORLD CUPS in the last six years, poor us. How many England, SA, Sri-lanka, New Zealand, Zim and Bang win during that period? Please let me know

The franchise system is flawed. You don't solve the problem by just throwing money at it. As we saw in the Regional Super50, a bunch of amateur university students beat the paid professionals to win the tournament.

BWAHAHAHAHAH you mean the skunt who claimed Jamaica should have "five teams in the four day competition" is now trying to diss we system? And btw, those "students" STILL CAME THROUGH THEIR REGIONAL TEAMS SYSTEMS YOU IDIOT!!. So the difference is still the same. Those yutes have a good coaching staff around them and it was no surprise whatsoever to see them win. Infact it's encouraging as those are YOUNG PLAYERS FOR THE COTR TO RECRUIT :D

The ICC Test rankings don't lie. The West Indies are a lowly eighth on 76 points, and just lost a Test to the ninth-ranked Bangladesh.

All we can do is try to fix the structure of our cricket year by year. But what skunts like you need to understand is we can only do so much. Each region has a duty to bring through their cricketers in the right way. If Leewards or Jamaica slack in that department then is that our fault? Unnu need to get real and stop blaming everything on the board. Some of these cricket boards and players are NOT motivated to improve and that is something we are trying to weed out of our cricket. The boards before us contrived to create an amateur system and run it for years and years, that is what brought our cricket to it's knees. Now we're fixing the system and hopefully boards to come will benefit from the fine work we are doing right now.

FORWARD!!

Talk about fiddling while Rome burns...lack of preparation is no excuse. That's something that's under your control. What you're doing is admitting the WICB made no attempt to prepare the West Indies for the Test series in Bangladesh. Before Zimbabwe went to Bangladesh in November, the last Test Zimbabwe had played was in December the year before...11 months before! And yet, the Zimbabweans managed to draw the Test series 1-1, while we were hammered 2-0. Are the Zimbabweans made of better mettle than our WETT?

That "young team" excuse is a poor one, because you're the skunt who's been campaigning to get rid of old "seniors" such as Chanderpaul. Now that you've got rid of them, you're complaining that you don't have enough senior players. Do you see the fallacy of warped WICB logic?

Gayle and Russell are both World Cup winners. That said, you're dwelling on past glories. There's no way this ODI outfit has a chance of winning the 50-overs World Cup, the women have been dethroned of their T20 title, and the men will soon be, because the players to take over from the seniors are not good enough.

Don't mix limited overs cricket with Test cricket. The fact remains that there's no Jamaican on the WETT, and yet the Test side is arguably the worst-ever.

And the PCL is not working. Already, we're in the second round, and most of the innings are scores of less than 200. Batsmanship has further declined. You trough-dwellers are just using the means of paying cricketers to give paid salaries to favoured players who don't deserve a place in the side. Favouritism is the order of the day, which is why a number of players rejected by the franchises can go on to win the Regional Super 50 over those who are paid to play for their country.

No, what has brought West Indies cricket to its knees are you trough-dwellers in the WICB. As a result, the West Indies fan base has dwindled to next to nothing. Seats are sold out for the CPL, but only three men and a dog turn up to watch the West Indies.

In the next series, England will come to the Caribbean. In all of those matches, visiting Barmy Army England fans will vastly outnumbered the handful of WI fans who will show up.

That's your legacy....
