yes..it was Awesome, third trip to Hawaii but first time to Oahu. Stayed at the Westin Moana Surfrider in the heart of Waikiki... Front of the resort are all the restaurants and behind is the beautiful beach. No need to drive, everything was in walking distance...mikesiva wrote:I hope you enjoyed it, Bally....

If I have to pick one island then it has to be Oahu. Waikiki Beach is the place if you want to be right on the beach and in the mix of things (Beach, Restaurants, bars, activities,etc).. I like Maui as well but its more moving around to get to the action.Googley wrote:bally, of all the islands which you like the best and why?

I haven't seen any of the islands but Oahu. It's north coast is also very nice with all the famous surfing sites - Bonzai Pipeline, Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay.If I have to pick one island then it has to be Oahu. Waikiki Beach is the place if you want to be right on the beach and in the mix of things (Beach, Restaurants, bars, activities,etc)..
