Bridgetown, Barbados, March 9 – (www.bcacricket.org) – Out-of-form veteran opening batsman Dale Richards and leg-spinner Ryan Layne have been dropped from the Barbados 13-man squad as fast bowler Tino Best and batsman Jonathan Carter are recalled for the crucial fifth round regional first-class match against Windward Islands at Kensington Oval, starting on Friday.

It's about time Richards made way for Carter, and why Layne was picked ahead of Best is beyond me....
