March 31, 1995 The unofficial heavyweight championship of the cricket world began in sensational style when Australia reduced West Indies to 6 for 3 in the first half-hour in Bridgetown.

If so, then it is 16 years ago today.

It's all about cycles, West Indies had some very poor spells before we ruled the cricket world for 15 years too!!, where was Australia when we was killing everyone in sight? then they took over but look at them now? our time back on the big stage is just around the corner man!!..the talent we have coming through now is just frightening to be honest!! .

Because i'm here to talk about CRICKET, on the other forum i revelled in putting licks on you and others fi fun!!..

But back to the point in hand, WE DO have tons of talent coming through, and some of them are playing in England like Hughes and Alleyne, the crap we saw in the world cup doesn't effect our future prospects at all because out of all that squad only Roach, Darren Bravo, Russell and Bishoo could be looked at as "youngsters", and most of them done well anyway.

ok...so WI had 15 years, Aus 15, who's next? note we have India, Pak, SL, NZ, England, Bangla, SA, Zim. So if we go with this logic, we have to wait another 15 - 120 years?

I think Aus was up deh when WI was dishing out licks... Aus was winning the Ashes, etc

I totally understand your optimism with the talent come through but its hard to make the jump to the big leagues. We need a strong domestic competition to test our players and prepared them for next level. We need good coaches, management and administration. All working towards one goal rather than going their own way.
