Do you think these youngsters can cope you the Pakistanis bowling? Like Googs said, ODI MAYBE but Test NO! West Indies batting is too frail to go without Shiv the rock of the WI batting.
Becareful what you asking for... Some people were pushing for Lara to go but WI could have really use Lara as a test player for few more years.

Gayle (31)
Barath (20)
Darren (22)
Samuels (30)
Nash (32)
Dwayne (27)
Baugh (28)
would be my top order, so by talking about "youngsters" are you suggesting Barath or Darren should sit for Shiv? come on man that would be pure madess man!!

so you want change..., right?
Tell me what happened when Bangladesh last visited? Don't be shame! Them buss WI behing! Who as on the team? Wasn't it youngsters too? I'm talking bout Bangladesh the bottom of the barrel. Do you actually think changing a few players and WI will be world beaters again? NO! Change have to come from the top! Top down! When they re-org in bizniz, they change management not workers (players).

That's an extremely weak excuse i'm afraid because the team that played Bang WASN'T EVEN THE SECOND TEAM, it was a third or fourth choice eleven at best, furthermore asking for Shiv to be dropped is hardly making MAJOR CHANGES is it? it's just ONE BATSMAN!!..i'd also drop Sammy and Benn too but that's another issue.BallOil wrote:so you want change..., right?

Bravo is not a #6 test batsman. Names on paper means nothing, they have to go out and perform!
Prove they are worthy of selection!
Age has nothing to do with selection, you perform you play. Its that simple! How many of these guys can match Shiv's shadow stats?

It's not just about Dwayne's batting though because HE'S A DECENT BOWLER TOO!!.. plus he did get a ton against Australia not long ago and a 50 against SA so he's done ok recently,BallOil wrote:Bravo is not a #6 test batsman.

As for Shiv, yes if he was Tendulkar then age wouldn't be a problem BUT HE'S NOT, he's a man totally out of form and there are younger players with experience like Samuels who i believe would do a better job for WI now.

Samuels is just as experienced today as he was just before the ban. What was his stats in his last 12 months in test cricket?AFRO wrote:It's not just about Dwayne's batting though because HE'S A DECENT BOWLER TOO!!.. plus he did get a ton against Australia not long ago and a 50 against SA so he's done ok recently,BallOil wrote:Bravo is not a #6 test batsman.

When last Bravo mek a test ton and fifty?
Besides that, I can spin it Gayle and Bravo shouldn't be selected ahead of Shiv because they are not committed to WI cricket. What do you think about that?

pik ah side fuh Pak!
well deh have to be able to play the moving ball. gayle go be in trouble against Pak. Smith too!
but both will be pik!
I like dat young player Kraig Braithwaite in Bim. he might be a season away yet doh but we will see.
lil B cyan deal with spin so he is in. big B is out injured! Sars is supposed to be able to deal with spin and I believe he is not done yet, dat he has more to give..so ge is in my side.
and of course deh will pik sknash.
so my side according to what I believe deh will do is Smith, gayle, Bravo, Sarwan, Shive, dat fella. now Ramdin shud follow here but I dont know..wun make no call on the keeper...I wud go with Benn as the spinner just yet but would not quarrel if they went with Bishoo. the pace will be Roach and and which 1?
so di'ze 10 players. I will not pik anymore dan 10 because deh will pik dat fella as captain so westindies will be playing with 10 players.
