Rain curtails second day of Inter-County matches

Only 3.4 overs were possible between Demerara and Essequibo at Bourda, in which time overnight batsman Akshaya Persaud was dismissed for 127 after starting the day on 110. Over at the Everest, 43 overs were possible between Berbice and the Select XI. During that time, Berbice moved from 27-3 to 141-6, level with the Select XI first innings total.
