Under-15 cricketers off to Antigua in quest for Regional supremacy

They play their first match against Trinidad and Tobago at the Coolidge Cricket Ground on April 4 and the second on April 6 against Jamaica at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. Back at the Coolidge Cricket Ground on April 8, they battle the Windward Islands then the Leeward Islands at the Liberta Sports Club on April 10 to close off the Championship against defending champions Barbados on April 12 at Liberta Sports Club. Held in Grenada last year, Guyana finished second. The Guyana Cricket Board, in a release on Sunday, explained that following the Inter-county tournament, the squad underwent preparation via two practice matches as “these preparation exercises undertaken by the players of the Guyana Under-15 team are expected to ensure, the physical, technical, and mental readiness of the players to conquer the varying game challenges that are anticipated to present during this Regional Tournament.” Guyana Under-15 squad: Dave Mohabir (Captain), Romario Ramdeholl (Vice Captain), Razam Koobir, Arun Gainda, Navin Boodwah, Shane Prince, Trilok Nanan, Emanuel Lewis, Jonathan Mentore, Arif Khan, Sohil Mohamed, Adrian Hetmyer, Zandon Rose, And Dhaneshpersaud.
