Probably:
devon smith, barath, lil bravo, samuels, sknash, any of a number of posibilities, baugh, sammy, bishoo, roach, edwards.
how consistently can such a line-up put 200+ on the tins?
not very as far as I see!
the paks will open with a spinner and see-off smith rather quickly. barath if he morphs back into the hungry and ambitious kid may last. he can deal with wat the paks can throw at him if he re-steeles and dsciplines himself.
Bravo has been figured out. he must now settle and respond, see the tactics used against him and defeat them.
can samuels blossom into a 40 average batsman at 30, after 10 years of mediocrity? unlikely but not impossible for this latter day hoops.
snares is not a batsman who has proven he can deal consistently with good bowling on pitches that gives bowlers a chance. well he will have to deal with Pak spin, pace and reverse swing at all points of his innings.
and who will the newbie be? Edwards, Brathwaite? or will it be an old-bie..Hinds or Ganga in top form..even Fletcher, also in good form?
from #6 things go downhill until it stops at Roach..and edwards if he is back.
baugh to me is a joke. sammy represents 0 so westindies start with 10 men if he plays. bishoo is good but inexperienced.
Pak will score powerfully against this bowling..and run through westindies batting

Note that Pakistan will be sending an A team and still buss the behing. What tune you think they will sing then?
Pak sending an A team? I thought they were sending their best team!
the ultimate insult to the westindies....sending your A team to play the seniors!
this is worse than if they came and scored tons of runs, broke Laras record... all the Pak/westidies scoring records!
this is embarrassment!

LOL me haffe laugh at the BIASED excuses!!
, firstly the only seniors who may have been "dropped" thus far are SHIV AND SARS, No-one has suggested that Gayle won't be in the Test team, also Dwayne Bravo is back now and will be in the team, therefore my starting line-up would be..
Gayle
Barath
Darren
Samuels
Nash
Dwayne (c)
Baugh (wk)
Russell
Roach
Pascal/Edwards/Gabriel
Bishoo
Imo that's better than the team that played in SL, it's much more balanced and has IN FORM BATSMEN in the top order, not some 36 year old "has been" living on past glories!!
, would i leave Sars out of the Test squad? nope and i'm hopeful he won't be but it's time to try some new things now, the status quo are boring.

Gayle
Barath
Darren
Samuels
Nash
Dwayne (c)
Baugh (wk)
Russell
Roach
Pascal/Edwards/Gabriel
Bishoo

Funny how they've NEVER WON A TEST SERIES in that "minnows" backyard isn't it?BallOil wrote:Mapoui, respect is earned... Most top players don't want to come to play minnows

I'm not bitter ...just happy to see the shyte for what it is..shyte! Wish the blind could see it too but they blind, so I will not hold that against them.
You have to admit WI will not see any full strength side anytime soon after the last Bangladesh beat dung.
what are you basing the test series win on?

Yes you are otherwise you wouldn't have started a thread calling for a "boycott"BallOil wrote:I'm not bitter ...just happy to see the shyte for what it is..shyte!

Well we see things differently, i see a team WHO GOT A DRAW IN SL recently and can be EVEN STRONGER without Shiv and Sammy in the way, you might be happy with the status quo failing us year after year but changes are the way forward IMO.You have to admit WI will not see any full strength side anytime soon after the last Bangladesh beat dung.
