link“We have put young men in the international arena only to be slaughtered and demoralised. I keep hearing from people ‘Fire those guys and bring in new ones!’, but where is the new set coming from? Who are we going to bring in? I keep saying to everybody that they have about three or so more years of embarrassment left. The simple fact is that we are not producing young men in this region that are capable of being world beaters in cricket. It’s just a simple fact. Our present crop of cricketers are simply not prepared.”

as to Carlos Braithwaite!
as noted by the Cozier monster, Gibbo has pointed out we have failed for the past 10 years and the seniors have been involved all the way through...implying that they are responsible and must be dropped...a clean start made.
a clear argument..the seniors represent a corruption on the side, indisciplined according to the Monster, and while previous coaches could not get rid of such players losing their jobs instead Gibbo is serious and has dropped them already.
(no one has asked the question if these senior sare the players who were involved in the indiscipline Cozier is talking about)
yet if we are going to build success where failure reigned/reigns, is it not critical we do not start again on a corruption, but on the principles of success which involves fair and open selection of the best talent available!?
well if Big Bravo is to play, also Russell, Roach and Edwards, Taylor, Pascal etc, then there is no place for Braithwaite because Gibson has ruled out dropping the captain who is an inferior player to Braithwaite...even to David Bernard and several others in the region of the same type of player.
so the same reconsruction that Richie says will yield success in 5 years, begins compromised at the start with impure, sullied, insular and corrupt selection, at the critical position of captain that will most assuredly produce the same failure in 5, 10, 50 years..no matter..as long as the corruption remains in place, at the base of everything that goes on.
wat indeed is richie talking about when he is part and parcel of a corrution that is about to repalce a previous corruption...?

They rid the very foundation, of Gayle, Sarwan and Shiv with proven stats and now building on quicksand.

Who will the youngsters learn from?
Where is the common sense in all of this?
