Did Edwards have to play at that ball?!!!! Fookery! So that should be the end of him for the rest of the summer! Are we looking at a Gayle/Simmons combination for the tests with Barath in the wings?

0.2 Junaid Khan to Edwards, OUT, Edwards gone first ball. Slightly strange batting. A very open stance for the left-arm bowler, the ball pitches outside leg, angles away, Edwards hands his bat out, and it kisses the edge on the way through. Squared up by a regulation delivery

I was just gonna say poor technique by Bravo in playing that bouncer and next ball he is out!
Good bowling by the bowler poor cricket by Bravo.
He was disconcerted by that bouncer - not really getting his bat out of the way in a convincing manner. Should have taken a little while to settle himself down before the next ball.
In comes Sarwan...Junaid, the wicket taker, has 2 more overs to come after this one. I hope that they are thinking about that fact.
Simmons reading Afridi well but not so Sarwan. Though the scoring rate is good the pressure is beginning to build. Unless you are reading Afridi you should not be playing him off the back foot!
Another 50 for Simons - well played that man BUT he has to stay in till the end as the ANCHOR of the innings!!!!

Yes and given the match situation his presence at the crease is very reassuring! Mr. Gibson and Co. are you taking note?!badpepper wrote:Good morning, Bally. Good to have Sars back.
Sars actual performance is also exactly what is required and Simons must also be enjoying the solidity at the other end while he bats.
