No wonder they took so long to announce it! The fools. Chanderpaul should have been selected ahead of Edwards! What hope do they see in Edwards? Having both him and Samuels in the team is like playing with 2 batsmen short. This is real nonsense!

Unless the team doctor tells one of them that they have a 'side strain' thirty minutes before the match starts and Chanderpaul gets selected :roll:

What would be the point in picking Chanders? didn't anyone see how poor he was in the world cup? he's slower than Edwards to rass!! :lol: ,

And if there is any "booing" i hope it's only aimed at Sammy!!, not the whole team, unnu have Sars and Bishoo to watch anyway so you should be grateful!! :mrgreen:

AFRO yuh good eh! Yuh talking about Edwards slow...lawd have mercy! AFRO, Edwards can't bat! So what the use talking about de 'pace' of his innings???!! More relevant if we talk about his speed back to the pavilion! :P

Maybe Edwards got a new cricketing illness! He must be allergic to 'time in the middle' so he have to lose he wicket before we all see a big rash cover-up he whole skin!

Anyway, I was wondering just who is who on 'the selection committee' and found that it currently comprises:

Clyde Butts Chairman
Robert Haynes
Courtney Browne
Stuart Williams Alternate selector
Lockhart Sebastien Alternate selector

Apologies if alyuh know dis already but since i started to debate the merits of who they select on the team I want to know by name who it is i bawling out.

And we can see the whole WICB setup here: http://www.windiescricket.com/WICB-Staff" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Yeah Haynes and Butts been there for a few years already, Browne just joined them before the SL series, but we can't downplay the influence Gibbo has on them either, he said "he wasn't happy with the senior batsmen" after the world cup and all of a sudden Gayle, Shiv and Sars got dropped, so clearly his views are vital,

Whats interesting though is Browne was recently away with the WI u19s for the series against Australia so one would imagine it would be in his hands as to whether Brathwaite makes his debut in the Test games coming up, i'd be livid if they go back to Smith!! :evil: .

You notice there is no reputable ex-batsman on the TEAM OPERATIONS UNIT????!!!! And don't anybody tell me that David Williams was a wicketkeeper/Batsman!!!

From cricinfo ...blah blah blah David Williams was always on a hiding to nothing trying to follow Jeff Dujon. Williams, the sort of man born to be described as diminutive, was a perfectly competent keeper but his weakness with the bat (he made seven ducks in 18 completed Test innings) meant he only played 11 Tests. balh blah blah ...

Smith????!!!!
