What a load of rubbish!!, how the feck has Smith managed to worm his way into the team again when the man who got him out THREE TIMES IN A ROW recently (Hafeez) will be playing in the Tests? and why no second spinner too?

As for who sits!!..well Chanders of course would be one for me!! :D , i don't have a clue about the other, it could well be Sarwan or Samuels, or they might be dumb and adopt Mike's idea of only playing just two fast bowlers and leave out Rampaul or Edwards, but the way i see the team is..

Simmons
Smith
Darren
Sarwan/Samuels
Nash
Sammy
Baugh (wk)
Rampaul
Roach
Edwards
Bishoo

We're just gonna have to pray that Sammy can at least get a few 20s here and there to add to the board, i do wonder whether they would actually think about letting Sarwan open with Simmons? that way they could fit Samuels or Chanders into the middle order.

Another thing i just thought of is they might well think that Simmons can bowl some medium pace (he's taken and go with another batter afterall!!.. so they might think..

Sammy (medium pace)
Simmons (medium pace)
Rampaul (quick)
Roach (quick)
Bishoo (spinner)
Nash (part time spinner)

Which would allow them to stengthen the batting order, if that's what they are thinking then my team would be..

Smith
Simmons
Darren
Sarwan
Samuels
Nash
Baugh (wk)
Sammy (c)
Rampaul
Roach
Bishoo

Certainly has enough batters to get us a draw, but that bowling unit would have to have one hell of a spell to bowl Pak out twice for modest scores that's for sure, and i wouldn't be confident that they could.

Shiv sit it out? Dream on, Afro!
Sarwan batted a second time, and only made 18, so I think Samuels has stolen a march on him....

Sadly, I think we're stuck with Smith and Sammy....

1) Lendl Simmons
2) Devon Smith
3) Darren Bravo
4) Shiv Chanderpaul
5) Marlon Samuels
6) Brendan Nash
7) Carlton Baugh
8) Darren Sammy
9) Kemar Roach
10) Ravi Rampaul or Fidel Edwards
11) Dev Bishoo

Lol i've never seen an old man like Mike be so obsessed with having one man in the team at all cost!!.. you'd think he was a young eight year old child the way he gets so emotional over it!! , SARWAN ACTUALLY PLAYED IN THE ODIs!!..WHERE WAS SHIV? that would indicate that Gibbo and co have more faith in Sars right now than they do Shiv!!.. so like i said Mike KEEP PRAYING!! :D .

p.s. if everything revolves around "the warm up matches" i guess Bishoo won't be playing then? because he didn't even take part in any of the games!! bwahahaha.

by thursday midday this msb will be up with arms over ravi rampaul who will be excluded, along with Marlon Samuels fro the 13.

smith did not 'worm' his way back into the side. like sammy he is a skunt hunte bwoy and is an untouchable.

the side according to Dotty reasoning will be:
smith
simmons
bravo
sarwan
shive
sknash
bow
sammy
roach
bishoo
edwards
the pick is between rampaul and edwards as a returning player whose fitness is stil however slighly suspect
edwards will get the nod because of superior record and pace

bishoo's absence from the practice games is the most sure sign dat he will be selected to play his first test. his place is certain!

Rampaul also ought to be certain too...but somebody have to sit fuh sammy. and it wont be roach or edwards.

this shud precipitate a west-Indian up-rising in the region....which wud not be a bad thing at all!

lynch skunt Hunte

I am one of dem but I cyar wait for the current older and dominant westindian generation to dis-ah-rass-pear.

my generation of westindians with significant exceptions have been the absolute worse generstion of westindians ever.

we have led the westindies back into colonialism with glee and panache and ego. people like skunt Huunte, rabid, ego-driven and power-mad, hard and punitive with westindians, insular, narrow and nasy-minded, pompous all over the region, undemocratic and dictatoral to a fault..are quite the opposite with our lords and masters, meek as a lamb and subservient in the presence of 'ole marse'

look how easy it is for skunt hunte to subvert the westindies cricket team! look how easy it is for him to force smith and sammy especially on the team to its loss and destruction!

one wud think that it would be impossible for any westindian leader to do things like that. that if they forced a player on the side he wud be at least good enuff.

its only the dotties who did that so blatantly..first with Omari Banks and now with Sammy. Smith at least can bat a bit.

the Bajans came close with Milton Small, David Holdford and was it Roddy Estwick. Holdford and the other Bajan I have in mind had real ability. Milton Small was very, very marginal player

but somebody have to sit fuh sammy.
Yep, this is what it all comes down to. I'm not sure they won't sit Fidel for the first test though, after Ravi's recent performance. Sitting either would be a shame.
