RE: MARLON SAMUELS

What do you mean Marlon has earned his chance ?

What chance are you talking about Afro ?

DID YOU SEE MARLON IN THE ONEDAYERS ?

He shit his pants against the Paki spinners.

Here are Samuels scores again in the onedayers against Pakistan:
Samuels: 2, 29, 18, 8*
Samuels failed big time----and like I said he shit his pants against the Paki bowlers.

And dont forget afro----in tests, Marlon has played in 29 tests and has a piss poor average of 28.53

Marlon Samuels is a SHYT-A-MANKAR.

I see you are a man who adores MEDIOCRITY afro. :D
ERM SAMUELS WAS THE HEIGHEST RUN SCORER IN THE LAST FOUR DAY COMPETITION!!.. AND ALSO CRACKED A DOUBLE HUNDRED IN THE WARM UP GAME BEFORE THIS TEST!!.. SO HE'S IN FORM!! ,

WHAT HE'S DONE IN THE PAST IS IN THE PAST, HE WAS DOING WELL BEFORE HE GOT BANNED ANYWAY, HE'S COME BACK NOW AND LOOKS OK!!..JUDGING HIM ON THE ODI's ALONE ISN'T FAIR AS HE HAD TO KEEP UP WITH A RUN-RATE, AND AS I'M SURE YOU KNOW THAT WON'T BE THE CASE IN THE TESTS!!..I'D RATHER TAKE A CHANCE ON SAMUELS THAN PLAY A WASHED UP SHIV THANKS!! .

Lame excuse balloil!

Shiv looked solid before tea---he scored 20 runs with 4 boundaries.

He started chooking and chooking post tea after Nash and Baugh fell.

AFRO IS RIGHT!

Shiv's best days are behind him.

Right now he is very, very ordinary.

RE: RADIO COMMENTARY

balloil do you have any links to radio commentary----I'll need it for tomorrow.

Thanks

Samuels scored 800+ runs in the 4 day competition then shyt his pants in the onedayers versus Pakistan: 2, 29, 18, 8*

In tests he'll be facing even better Paki bowling and will likely continue to shyt his pants.

MARLON SAMUELS IS A PROVEN FAILURE AFRO!

Check his stats again:

28.73...Samuels average in 29 tests

29.92...Samuels average in 109 onedayers

38.14...Samuels average in 76 first class matches

You see those piss poor averages Afro ?

Then I guess the Tea break probably distracted Shiv ... Wonder if Gibbo told Shiv how to bat and he listen to the coach :) Let's watch Shiv couple more games before we rush to the wrong conclusion.

AFro what? Are we talking about Afro's statement about Baugh now? :)

You need to work on your reading comprehension Afro!

I pointed out to you that after scoring 800+ runs in the domestic competition, Marlon Samuels shyt his pants in the onedayers against Pakistan-----the Paki bowlers limited him to the following scores: 2, 29, 18, 8*

I then said to you that the Paki test bowlers would challenge Samuels even more than their one day bowlers, and therefore I expected him to shyt his pants even more were he to play in tests.

Finally I presented you with Marlon's overall stats in tests, onedayers and first class.

YOU ARE CLEARLY NUMERICALLY CHALLENGED AFRO!

You can argue EMOTIONALLY----but NUMERICALLY you are woefully lacking.

Statistically Marlon Samuels is a PROVEN FAILURE!

Check his overall batting stats one more time---ask a 4th grader to explain these numbers to you:
28.73....Samuels batting average in 29 tests

29.92...Samuels batting average in 109 onedayers

38.14...Samuels batting average in 76 first class matches

Marlon Samuels will always be mediocre afro---always!

I am not stickin no fork in shive!

westindies need shive right now desperately. we need him in form and scoring runs and for the next lil while we shud give him every opportunity to regain top form.

if by the end of the season he has not show anything like his old self then he is toast and I am sure he will quit.

but for now he must be be selected and forget about it..until India come and gorne

Fair enough!

Most of Shiv's supporters want him to do well, but the reality is his batting has regressed significantly since the series last year between the West Indies and South Africa.

Shiv was very ordinary in Sri Lanka. He was ordinary in the world cup. And he looked very ordinary in the post tea session on day 1 at Providence.

I wont mind if Shiv makes me eat crow----but right now I see a declining batsman.

So going by your logic of JUDGING players on ODIs WHY THE FECK WAS YOU STILL BACKING SHIV AFTER HE FAILED AT THE WORLD CUP AND IN THE SL ODI SERIES? HE ALSO FAILED IN THE LAST TEST SERIES IN SL BUT YOU STILL KISSED HIS RASS AND WANTED HIM IN THE TEAM,

Furthermore if you're gonna judge samuels on what he done in the past and not current form in the four day game i guess you don't want Simmons in the team now right? because his current stats aren't that impressive!!..and yet he's been our best batsman and is making your argument look frivolous :| .

Once again, you are revealing your poor reading comprehenson skills.

I am not judging players by their one day stats. What I am saying is Samuels failed against Pakistan in the onedayers and in tests he would play against better Paki bowlers, therefore it is very likely that he would continue to fail.

RE: SHIV

You said he failed in the world cup.

Well, these were his scores in the world cup:

31, 4, 35, 44*

That's an average of 38.00 Shiv had in the world cup.

Now, let's take a look at the scores on star batsman Darren Bravo in the world cup.

73, 30, 9*, 0, 5, 22, 0

That's an average of 23.16 Darren Bravo had in the world cup.

If Shiv with his 38.00 average failed in the world cup what would you say about Darren Bravo ?

He was a resounding success, right ?

RE: SHIV'S LAST TEST SERIES IN SL

Shiv averaged 31.33 in the 3 tests he played in Sri Lanka, but with an overall test average of 48+ after 130 tests Shiv has earned the right to be persisted with.

Marlon Samuels averages 28.53 in 29 tests---HE IS A PROVEN FAILURE.

Even in a failed series in SL, Shiv's average(31.33) was higher than Marlon's overall test average(28.53)

Furthermore if you're gonna judge samuels on what he done in the past and not current form in the four day game i guess you don't want Simmons in the team now right? because his current stats aren't that impressive!!..and yet he's been our best batsman and is making your argument look frivolous :| .

Lendl Simmons has played in only 4 tests previous to the current one against Pakistan. He deserves to be given a chance.

BUT SAMUELS IS A PROVEN FAILURE.

In 29 previous tests Samuels has averaged a piss poor 28.53

You can bray all you want Afro---but the reality is Shiv is a world class batsman, while Samuels is a proven failure.

If Shiv doesn't make another run in the current series he will still average in the high 40s.

SAMUELS WILL NEVER AVERAGE 30.
