Oh, so that's your argument!AFRO wrote:Yeah because Bravo is as experienced as Shiv right?mikesiva wrote:Fixed for you....
Take your licks and stop crying Mike!!..you're way too old for that!!.
The West Indies should carry inexperienced batsmen as passengers, and allow them to fail again and again, without accepting responsibility, because they're young. They should not feel that they're in the side to make runs, and take on that responsibility. In contrast, you feel that the sole responsibility for making runs in the side should be shouldered by experienced batsmen. In that case, you feel that only two batsmen in the side are responsible for making runs - Sarwan and Shiv.
Am I finally getting your warped logic?

Sorry, Afro, I can't agree with you. Shiv would've been disappointed with his score, but so would ever batsman in the side. And, because he was the second-highest scorer in the innings, it's clear that he belongs in the Test side (from which he has not been dropped in years, for obvious reasons).
Until the other batsmen in the side can actually score more runs than him, his place in the side is not in question....

Darren beating Shiv? Darren who? Bravo or Sammy?AFRO wrote:I never thought i'd see the day when unnu get so desperate that you'd try to defend a 27 run knock!!..BallOil wrote:
Shiv has the second biggest knock today..Granted it wasn't big enough ... Mabye this pitch is a factor, let the match run its course. I wounder if Gibson sent Shiv a message when he was batting or during the tea break.
, these excuses are getting more feeble by the day now, i thought Shiv is meant to be the "big man" of the team? WHY IS HE ALWAYS FINISHING SECOND THESE DAYS AND NOT FIRST? if it's not Simmons beating him it's Darren!!..unnu should just admit that SHIV DONE!!..fullstop
.

How much did the two Darrens score yesterday? Shiv scored more runs than either Darren....
Newsflash, Afro: Simmons beat everybody in the side, and since Shiv was the second highest scorer, there is an argument that every other batsman in the side should be dropped before these two, based on your warped logic of judging a batsman on only one innings.

Furthermore it was YOU and Shiv himself running off your mouths about how "great" he is and how he is the leader of the batting unit, but time and time again he is flattering to deceive!!!.. you was laughing when you saw he wasn't dropped!!.. but at the end of the day you end up with egg pon your face!! bwahahaha..Shiv keep embarrassing unnu like there's no tomorrow!!

You all dont realize Afro making a lot of noise about the 27 because he is pissed that Shiv got selected AND he was proven wrong by the selectors when they picked Shiv. Afro wanted Shiv to be discarded so badly, the man is grasping at straws to bash the Tiger!
Afro, we never got a chance to discuss how the crow taste when Shiv was slected in the team! Lets talk about that, nuh!

Okay, now that both innings are closed, let's look at the Windies batting in this match alone....
Only three 'batsmen' can come out of this match with their heads held high. Only three of them averaged over 30 in this match. Can you guess who they are?
1) Shiv (of course!) 63 runs, average of 63.
2) Bishoo 39 runs, average of 39.
3) Simmons 70 runs, average of 35.
All other batsmen failed, including Bravo and Nash....
Afro, are you feeling foolish now?
