Look WI won this match but what role the pitch played in this victory? This pitch is not the normal test match surface...

I am not one to factor in pitch,, since both team played on the same pitch, so in my book that a wash. The pitch is what it is, as a player you adpt to the condition and do your thing.

Bally...yuh absolutely wrong here cause de same pitch was there fuh both teamn....Pak have numerous WC spinners in their team and WI only had Bishoo....yuh have to give jack his jacket....Sammy and Rampaul won this game fuh de WI after de Tiger and Bishoo bail dem out....all in all de TEAM play wonderfully and CONGRATS fuh a BIG win.... :lol: 8-)

Was the devil in the pitch? is it your typical Test pitch?

Looks I'm denying the win, it was a good game and enjoyed it.
I'm looking to see what role this pitch played in this game. Remember WI lost the ODI series, came to GT and trashed Pakistan on this same wicket. But not all the pitches will be like the one in GT.

Bally! It no matter what....A Win is a Win....Both teams played on the same wicket and guess what WI came out on top.... 8-)

All in all....who yuh really think had the best team at the start of this test match? I honestly taught that de Pak was gonna blow out de WI with their spinners but if yuh look at de whole game...WI played with more heart....on a spinning wicket...our pacers/medium took all ten wickets in de fourth innings is a biggie fuh me!!!

It was the same pitch for BOTH TEAMS and if anything IT SUITED THEM BETTER THAN US with them having three spinners to choose from, i know your sad that Gibbo shove your words back down your throat Balloil but there's no need to make excuses man!! :lol: .

Bish has to work on his stamina. I'm not too happy with his 2nd innings bowling on that wicket. It was his debut, so wouldn't hold it against him.
