Got to give credit where it's due! Ravi Rampaul has been a revelation and is performing like a genuine fast bowler this series.

In the oneday series Ravi took 8 wickets in the 3 matches he played.

In the Providence test these were Ravi's figures:
Rampaul(1st innings): 17-5-27-3

Rampaul(2nd innings): 21-6-48-4
So far in the 2nd test Rampaul has taken the first two Pakistani wickets:

Rampaul: 5-2-6-2

Pak 22/2

KEEP ON TRUCKING RAVI.

RAMPAUL STRIKES AGAIN
Rampaul to Asad Shafiq, OUT, cut hard but caught at point! Rampaul on fire at Warner Park even though this was a poor ball. The length was short and the line was wide outside off. It was there for the cut and Shafiq went for it. Unfortunately for him, he hit it straight at Bishoo, who fell over because of the pace on the ball but held on to it

Asad Shafiq c Bishoo b Rampaul 0 (8b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00
Rampaul: 6-2-7-3

Pak 24/3

Ravi was very generous in his praises for his coach---he said after getting injured against South Africa, Coach Gibson told him to work om his fitness, lose some weight, and then he can expect his pace to improve.

He took the coach's advice and today and in this series we are seeing a REVELATION from Ravi.

HOPE RAVI GETS A 5ER IN THIS INNINGS.

He has a good opportunity to get it since only 5 wickets are down... A 5fer should do his confidence good though.

as i said..this is Ravis time. he shud flow into his best years from now through the next 5-6 years, then taper off.

he is now 25, physically mature, came to his sense about his fitness so he shud flow now, giving his best right through. we shud see wickets from him. he is dat kind of bowler who deals in wickets in bunches.

dats how he was on his way up. I was wondering about him at the top level. why he wasnt doing the same thing at the top level- taking wickets in bunches.

but it was a fitness/maturity thing. now he is all set.
