So which team can actually bat spin?

I see a lot of skunts saying "west indies can't bat spin" blah blah blah!!.. anyone see the famous Sri-lankan batting order against the Pak spinners today? EIGHT OF THE TEN WICKETS THEY LOST WENT TO SPIN, and FIVE IN THEIR FIRST INNINGS ASWELL, England were also undone by spin in their recent One day whitewash in India, SO WHICH TEAM CAN ACTUALLY BAT SPIN WELL? just India? can SA? Australia?

And also it's incredible that we drew that series with Pak WITH A MUCH WEAKER TEAM THAN WE HAVE NOW, back then Nash and Sarwan were stinking up the place and Simmons failed time and time again, now we have Edwards and Samuels in the middle order and the young openers are doing well.

Comparing how England bats against spin in ODIs with India is different from how SL batsmen batted against Pakistani spin in Tests in UAE. In the former, England batsmen are trying - unsuccessfully - to be aggressive and score runs against spinners. In the latter, the spinners are more attacking, trying to take wickets, while the SL batsmen tried to survive by playing defensively. That's why Badree will be a good ODI spinner, but won't make it as a Test spinner. That's why we need to see how Narine fares in four-day domestic cricket before talking about him as a Test spinner.

Not sure that's true, Kevin Pieterson has a well know problem with left-arm spin, almost as bad as Devon Smiths off-break problem, and Shane Watson has big problems with spin aswell from what i can see, pitch it up at him and he often swings at the ball and gets a top edge, also India have had major problems with spin in Sri-lanka aswell.

KP's weakness to left-arm spin is exaggerated...I don't think you can speak of him and Devon Smith in the same breath.

Devon looks clueless against spin, while KP is unfortunate in getting out to left-arm spinners. KP batted fine against India in Tests in England, and made runs that Devon can only dream of making!

But India didn't have a proper left-arm spinner though!! , when SL toured England recently how many times did Hereth get him? and even the Bang spinners had a lot of joy too!! .
