I was hoping against hope for something like this: opposition to the candidacy of who is a most disgustining individual who we can be sure to manitain and make worse the racism, imperialistic and class divisions, between the nations and groups in international cricket.
John Howard is a neo-con war mongering, rightwing hawk, as well as of neoliberal economic orientation when it comes to the money. John Howard will make it much harder on players, continuing the destruction of player rights. in this economic depression-times he will seek to turn back player rewards for their services rendered.
Howard is likely to precipitate chaos in the cricket world, the last thing the game needs at this time!
John Howard is no cricketer, save amateur/school stuff he might have played. as neo liberal he is bound to continue the develop the search for a means to massively exploit cricket financially, instead of allowing the game to evolve naturally, at its own pace given its historical content and make-up.
A John Howard presidency is altogether the worst possible thing that could happen to cricket at this time.
Howards candidacy smacks of cronysism and 'insider trading' it indicates that the same sickness that infects the process of westindian administrative selection, also infects such selection at the ICC. or is it the other way around.... we do as we have learned from them?
what is happening here exposes the rotten elitism at crickets heart...an attempt to maintain an exclusive and nasty traditional hierarchy in international cricket that keeps the Oz at the head, the english next with the white countries..and all others second class.
John Howard, based on his Prime ministership of Australia, exposed himself to be an absolutely stunning racist and all-round brutal white man, who has no sympathy with the causes and interest of the coloured nations of the world. this disqualifies Howard from any consideration at all as ICC prersident, a job that covers sporting ineterests of many nations of people of colour in the world.
Zimbabwe and RSA are right in opposing Howards' canidacy! it is high time that the white nations are challenged in cricket, for their stewardship has produced and maintains the most horrific nastiness in the routine game on the fields of the world...most emblematic of which is the elite umpire/match refere system...a most unfair system in effect, one that has nothing to do with high official performance, but in pratice enforces the particular supremacy of the status quo in the game on all who play
the elite umpire/match refere system has the backs of the coloured cricket world up and angry, enraged at the unfairness of it. it probably wold take little in any coloured country to spark invasions of cricket matches in progress, due to the damm unfair nonsense that is elite umpiring.
the world of cricket needs no more of this tripe but John Howard means a lot more of it, more of it in vast quantities. down with the Howard for president bullshit...up with a cricket revolution! cricket needs no more elitist nonsense, needs much more democracy. John Howard himself, must be consigned to the social oblivion that is the only safe place for one as viral, rabid infectuous as he is!

yes man! are you not tired of it all? they killing the game these modern capitalists! they killing the world period! there is no where to hide from them anymore. people must stand up for their interest now..the collective human interest. it is that or die to rass!BallOil wrote:Wow Mappy I see you feel strong against his nomination... this could be interesting and I hope cricket is the winner
dont you see the game that is always played, being played here?
when it took a team by ship 2 weeks to get to Australia for a tour....or a weeek 10 days to england or from england to the westindies... things were smaller, in sync. when the elites screwed up it did not blow the world of kill oceans etc
today their screw-ups and deliberate nastiness can accomplish such things.
that is more indication that the old way has run its course, and society needs new democratic forms of social organisation that eliminates the threat of an elite minority in control of the world. that has become far too dangerous to permit any more.
we might as well start with cricket as with anything else!

all areas of lier are connected up! stand where you are, in the life aroud you. just understand this and see the consequences and conectedness of things, how society develops, evolves changes.
this is all very simple these days/ all you have to do is that which you know will have an expansionary effect on the pregressive side of things. cast a positive vote for a progressive in an election big or small near you on issues of immedaite concern.
teach your children trtuh, what is known to be true and how they act and deal with thngs in a progressive manner. simply teaching them how to deal with power to save their lives, to avid confrontation they cannot win and why...clarifies their minds properly and sets them up to act generally positive in life.
education is crap so from kindergarten to university teach them the trtuh, how to cope with the lies they are taught..in one ear, pass the exam and out the other...guide them to study that is valid, useful and cannot be propagandised too much ..the sciences, accounting. make sure they avoid the humanities...make sure they teach themselves that, by their own path, acording to the class interest, through those areas.
you wold be 'sooprised' how efectively revolutionary you can be in simple but very effective ways that exposes you to no reprisals from the status quo.
they wont know anyway. and they wont care! they act in general terms. they have to kill people they dont rally care who is who. so if they have to blow your area they dont care if you are there..even if they know you and like you. that has nutten to do with it

Sri Lanka says no to Howard nomination
It looks like Howard ain't going anyway fastThe nomination of John Howard, the former Australian Prime Minister, for the ICC's vice-presidency has taken another hit with Sri Lanka saying it would not support his candidature. As first reported by Cricinfo, South Africa and Zimbabwe are leading a move to prevent Howard from being nominated to a post from where he will, in two years' time, graduate to heading the ICC.

damm right he isnt going anywhere! that man was so awful as Oz Prime minister, establishing a racist, elitist and war-mongering record so clear, that no blac or coloured country can sanely vote for, or support his candidacy to any damm thing, where their interests are representedBallOil wrote:Sri Lanka says no to Howard nominationIt looks like Howard ain't going anyway fastThe nomination of John Howard, the former Australian Prime Minister, for the ICC's vice-presidency has taken another hit with Sri Lanka saying it would not support his candidature. I want to see what these brown-nosing westindians are going to do..if they are going to turn tail on the other coloured nations and side with their white love objects..even if the its not in our best interests to do so!
acting against our own interests when it comes to race has been par for our course!
