We don't know how to finish them off - Gayle!

Headline...Gayle said........!!!

I did not have the slightest, not even momentary inclination to dig in to learn what Gayle said. I have just about lost complete interest in the westindies period. far less westindies cricket...indeed in cricket as a whole for I like no other cricket.

only westindies play cricket as it should be played. but they killed it and now westindies play something that resembles only slightly westindies cricket of old. its a relative by another mother, from the bosom of the westindies elite! :D :D :D

I dont care for that game! and I dont like the westindies as it is. there is nothing I can do, there is no way to contribute to positive change if anything by that name is possible in the westindies any longer...if it ever was possible.

naipaul was right about the westindies. its a disgusting place! Mister Biswas is only possible in literature. he cant even be an good example to the people of the westindies. they may not even read that book in westindian schools. and if the authorities permit such reading they must have found a way to neuter Naipauls message. so even if the kids read the book they arent better-off for the experience

Naipaul presents westindies society as a colonial reality that uis useful, positve, practical, valid, has a future only when its the westindian people accept who they are, here they are from what the compedium arose, and begin to deal with it as all they have with a view to making of it the best possible that can be made.

its not a new and unique message but a true one, powefully rendered by Naipaul. early westindian writing is like that and all the writers were solid indeed..the bajan Lamming, sam selvon and most particualry again CLRJ.

the westindies must effect social change of a nationalistic and socialist nature or the region is in fact doomed economically.

westindians of African descent in particular are doomed if there is no such change! all other westindians have base in the reality of the westindies that may allow them to go on without such social change but not africans.

Indians in partricular are strong in business and are increasing their numbers stronlgy in the region.

africans are not increasing in numbers and have a base only in politics. that base in politics is disappearing in trinidad and has disappeared in guyana..the one biggest, the other richest of what can be said to be westindian territories. .

without titty and guyana the dots and barbados are nothing, combined population of not even a million people! and Jamaica is just about out..have always voted themselves out of the region.

and even were they in it would make little difference for 90% of the population of the almost totally African of Yardie people....almost 3 million I believe....are held in such backwardness and poverty, that they are completely neutralised as a force for positive social change in the westindies.

not for nothing did Dr Tony Martin fame Trinidad intellectual and teache ask the question..is the African population of Trinidan and Tobago an endangered species?

they are...information that makes people like googley, cacabelly and a lot like them on these cricket msbs very happy undeed

above is the secret that termie over on Ends boards doh want me to discover and expose....that Indians are replacing blacs in the region...that black power and blac people are disappearing from the region.

that is why Termie is happy like pappy, contended with the way Ends boards has evolved to its current copposition and ideological make-up. also why he and redbaron are in perpetual attack mode on the African dominated parts of the westindies....especially Jamaica

these 2 hate Julian Hunte and any African president of the wicb, cant stand and stomach such as they telling them what to do. no dottie and yardie must tell them what to do in any area of westindian life. :x

they hate Ryan Narine for allowing sissy to allow so much Jamaican freedom of expression and run and form their own sectarian boards. :x :x

I have my beef with narine but he is no fool and likely far more westindian than those on the sectarian msbs

well Termie, Gooley, Cacabelly...soon ya'all may indeed have the westindies they way allyuh would like it to be!

patience is virtue!

in many ways I think. I dont know how complete but sissy is a lot more inclusive, representative of the region than 446 and aficionado

inclusive? Why are Trinis scarce pon the board then? :) Imusic ( iskunt) is the quota with a few for extra measures...

sissy is divided as it can be.... this could be reflected on the WI team as well. :)

yo Bally! Ryan did not chase them! they left! it is the kind of trinis who were there in the first place...and guyanese too..who left because they could not stand what Ryan was doing.

what they created upon leaving is instructive!. that too is not inclusive!

Ryan Narine is no progressive! he says it up front that his board is his dictatorship! Ryan could not stand my posts and he bans, banned who the hell he wanted to ban.

but i dont see that Ryan is different from any westindian I know. westindians know only power relationships, dictatorship bevaviour, subservience , do as I say but not as I do...and Narine is no diffefrent!

biut I nver saw where he chased all Trinidadians from his msb. he banned redbaron and face it redbaron is not everyoens cup of tea. and from the start Terminator was a pain the arse and is still a lil racist skunt...along with his big mentor redbaron.

if narines board is divided and the division takes place in his pages it it still representative of westindian life

if the fragmentation on sissy now now exprersses one westindian perspective them it can be said to be divided and narrow. but if that is the case it is not as if that is what Narine set out to accomplish...which is not the case as far I know!
