sad eh! 150 runs and the saffies would be in serious trouble against Benn and Shillingford in the fourth innings.
I lay this one at Gayles door for his refusal to refer umpires decision. that is what cost westindies this match right there.
the saffies would have hard pressed to make 250 had deVilliers been out as he should have been, earluy o'clock yesterday

narsing throw his wicket away today. too much pressure eh! narsing is not for #3 as a steady diet. narsign is for #6 ideally...nash position.
nash demonstrated today exactly what I have always thought of him...a mediocre player.
this was his one pure test as far as I am concerned: a wicket helping the bowlers but not impossible to bat on for the good batsman.
nash could not deal with genuine good bowlers in these conditions. he could deal with average Ozzies in his home town of australia. and he can bat all day on featherbeds. but with some good test bowling he can do nothing
I have been waiting and watching to see nash in just such a situatin to try determine how good he is. he aint! and he is old!
when our playera are back it should be narsing before nash!
but westindies need a couple 3 genuine test class batsmen let me tell allyuh

no one is held accountable in West Indies..mapoui wrote:sad eh! 150 runs and the saffies would be in serious trouble against Benn and Shillingford in the fourth innings.

65.1Morkel to Bess, OUT, 86.9 mph, And he is out first ball. It was the short one outside off, kicking up from short of length and Bess stabs it to low to second slip.

Roach to Smith, OUT, 86.4 mph, The short ball gets him. Eventually. He was hit on the neck once and edged another over mid-on. This time he pulls it weakly straight to Chanders at midwicket
GC Smith c Chanderpaul b Roach 10 (8b 1x4 0x6) SR: 125.00
SA 14/1

8.3 Roach to Amla, OUT, 90.7 mph, Third for Roach. Fine spell today. It was the full length outside off and Amla slashes it of the outer edge to gully. Amla hasn't had a good Test series. Too impetuous. Too many high-risk shots
HM Amla c Benn b Roach 25 (20b 3x4 0x6) SR: 125.00
SA needs 2 more runs..
