My Yankee Jah-fake-can friend, I thought you were the one saying that Narine has to play Test cricket against the Aussies!
Your confrontational approach with players who want to take part in the IPL is just like that of the uncompromising WICB, which makes me wonder if you're another mouthpiece....
As long as the WICB take your stance, they will continue to have conflicts with their own players and the IPL. Watch and see how this continues to unfold.
With regards to Sri Lanka playing in England in late May, it at least allowed their stars to play in a substantial portion of the IPL. Smart scheduling, Afro....
PS the ICC sets the FTP, but they cannot force a team to play within a given timeframe. The WICB can easily say we're not playing in most of April and May, and there's nothing the ICC can do about it....

MR ENGLAND!!.. saying i want him in the Test team and HIM BEING CALLED UP are two different things!!, i know you're old and you're losing your senses but come on Mike KEEP UP!! ,mikesiva wrote:My Yankee Jah-fake-can friend, I thought you were the one saying that Narine has to play Test cricket against the Aussies!
Says the skunt who just referred to the WIPA wesbite? FECK OFF!! ,Your confrontational approach with players who want to take part in the IPL is just like that of the uncompromising WICB, which makes me wonder if you're another mouthpiece....
Unlike you I'M A TRUE WI FAN, IT'S IN MY BLOOD!!, therefore i want whats best for the team, if players are allowed to pick and choose when they play for the region then WE WILL NEVER PROGRESS, so the choices should be made loud and clear, YOU EITHER PUT WI FIRST OR DON'T PLAY FOR THE REGION AT ALL, simple, i guess if this was Pieterson, Trott, Bell, Broad etc YOU MIGHT BE SINGING A DIFFERENT TUNE!! ,As long as the WICB take your stance, they will continue to have conflicts with their own players and the IPL. Watch and see how this continues to unfold.
The WICb can't risk England turning to another team instead, there's big money involved in touring England with the TV rights and stuff, it's better to be safe than sorry .PS the ICC sets the FTP, but they cannot force a team to play within a given timeframe. The WICB can easily say we're not playing in most of April and May, and there's nothing the ICC can do about it....

That's rubbish, my Yankee Jah-fake-can friend, and typical of the WICB and you to grovel before the ECB, but wield the stick at the WI players...talk about a plantation mentality.
Sri Lanka forced England to stage their series in late May, the WICB could've done the same, if they had any guts.
If WIPA have taken the WICB to court and arbitration 11 times, and won all 11 times, then WIPA are doing something right, and the WICB are doing something wrong. Think about it....
The answer is simple: don't schedule series to clash with the IPL.

"Plantation mentality"? WHAT THE FECK WOULD YOU KNOW ABOUT THAT? you aren't black!!, infact you're half white so perhaps YOUR ANCESTERS would know a bit about plantations!! , furthermore wasn't Sri-lanka dumped in 2009 AND WE REPLACED THEM ON SHORT NOTICE? so it's happened before you idiot!!.mikesiva wrote:That's rubbish, my Yankee Jah-fake-can friend, and typical of the WICB and you to grovel before the ECB, but wield the stick at the WI players...talk about a plantation mentality.
"Forced"? CAN YOU FIND ME THE EVIDENCE THAT SUGGESTS THEY "FORCED" ENGLAND PLEASE? seeing as you've been spouting that line for a while now i'm sure you won't have any problem with that request,Sri Lanka forced England to stage their series in late May, the WICB could've done the same, if they had any guts.
You still haven't answered the question i ask you on the other thread, so i'll ask you again as i guess you missed it the first time, WHICH PLAYERS HAVE THE WICB "TREATED LIKE DIRT"? you made that claim so please be man enough to BACK IT UP, don't go into COWARD mode as usual now!!,If WIPA have taken the WICB to court and arbitration 11 times, and won all 11 times, then WIPA are doing something right, and the WICB are doing something wrong. Think about it....
THE ICC SCHEDULED THE SERIES YOU SKUNT!!,The answer is simple: don't schedule series to clash with the IPL.

I guess you're clueless because you're a Yankee Jah-fake-can....
Sri Lanka was not "dumped" in 2009. They were lined up to play by England, but the SLC had forgotten to speak to their players, who had already signed to play in the IPL. The SL players refused to tour England, SLC backed down, and the ECB quickly recruited the WICB to send a team, and those roast breadfruits were so eager to please their massas that they accepted, and forced the WI players to tour England.
Newsflash - Sri Lanka toured England in 2011, and insisted on playing in late May, in order to give their stars time to play some IPL matches. It's well-known that England always want tours to start in the beginning of May, and it's also well-known that the tourists should always have an input on tour schedules as well.
I'm calling you a roast breadfruit, because you're begging for the ECB tour, regardless of time slots, without showing the guts to stand up to them, and doing what Sri Lanka did. You and your WICB sort only have strength to threaten the Windies players.
Again, with regards to WIndies players being treated like dirt by the WICB, I refer you to the WIPA website. You'll get all the answers you need there. What do you want? Me to google WIPA for you?
The ICC cannot force the Windies to play their home Test series with australia all the way up to the end of April, or start their away series against England at the beginning of May. The WICB have the power to say to the Aussies, "We want the last Test to finish by April 15", and to England, "We will not be able to come to England until mid-May." The ICC is a toothless tiger who can't sanction the WICB if they say that....

THEY WERE DUMPED YOU STUPID FOOL!!.. THEY TRIED TO TELL ENGLAND TO CHANGE THE SCHEDULE AND ENGLAND TOLD THEM TO FECK OFF!!.. IT'S AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!,Sri Lanka was not "dumped" in 2009. WHERE IS THE PROOF THAT SRI-LANKA "FORCED ENGLAND" TO MOVE THE DATE? YOU'RE RUNNING YOUR FECKING MOUTH BUT CAN'T SEEM TO PROVIDE THE EVIDENCE!!.. WHAT A SURPRISE!! ,Newsflash - Sri Lanka toured England in 2011, and insisted on playing in late May, in order to give their stars time to play some IPL matches. Excuse me who is "them"? are you that fecking deluded that you can't comprehend the fact that YOU ARE "THEM"? AND WHO'S "BEGGING"? i'm merely putting suggestions forward as to why the WICB may not want to kick up a fuss, but clearly whatever they do you're gonna moan anyway so why should they listen to ENGLISH skunts like you? PISS OFF!!,I'm calling you a roast breadfruit, because you're begging for the ECB tour, regardless of time slots, without showing the guts to stand up to them, and doing what Sri Lanka did. Translation: I'M A WUKLESS FOREIGN IDIOT WHO HASN'T GOT THE EVIDENCE TO BACK UP MY WORDS SO I'D RATHER HIDE BEHIND A WEBSITE!! ,Again, with regards to WIndies players being treated like dirt by the WICB, I refer you to the WIPA website. They still call the shots and create the fixtures you fecking IDIOT!!.. jeez can't you understand basic english? how many teams below the top three or four are changing fixtures to suit them? please let me know!!! .The ICC cannot force the Windies to play their home Test series with australia all the way up to the end of April, or start their away series against England at the beginning of May. Correction duly noted, WestDem - our Yankee Jah-fake-can friend....
Bwoy, even for a Yankee Jah-fake-can, you are ignorant bad, Afro!
You clearly have no clue about Sri Lanka in 2009. The 13 first-teamers who were contracted to the IPL said they were not going, and as a result, the SLC would have to put a second-string team together, and that's when the ECB said no. Given that the Sri Lankan govt was on the side of the players in this dispute, the SLC would've breathed a sigh of relief that the West Indies opted in for this unwanted tour....
The proof of the final tour schedule for 2011 is in the final schedule that the ECB had to accept. If that can't get thru your thick skull, then you're just deluding yourself, and in that regard, you're in good company with Gibson et al.
Once again, the ICC do NOT fix the exact dates of every tour. It's between the two touring teams, and the WICB can easily insist on a "break" between mid-April and mid-May if they wanted to....
The simple truth is that they don't, and they want to force their players to choose between the IPL and Test cricket. Just yet another example of the WICB treating their players like dirt....

Again NAME TEAMS BELOW THE TOP TWO OR THREE THAT ARE MAKING TEAMS CHANGE THEIR schedule? seeing as you seem to believe it's a common thing i'm sure you should have no problem providing examples!! ,Once again, the ICC do NOT fix the exact dates of every tour. It's between the two touring teams, and the WICB can easily insist on a "break" between mid-April and mid-May if they wanted to....
Yeah duncy!!.. wanting YOUR OWN PLAYERS to choose INTERNATIONAL CRICKET over CLUB CRICKET is a huge crime isn't it? btw i guess Pollard isn't a WI player right now right? NAH NEVER!!.The simple truth is that they don't, and they want to force their players to choose between the IPL and Test cricket. Just yet another example of the WICB treating their players like dirt....
