Oh so now it's not about getting 50s and 100s and it's about who top scored? ok then lets look at some of Kraigg's last few games then!!...mikesiva wrote: It looks like you don't understand the concept of a 'failure'....
Sarwan hit 41, which, as WestDem points out, was the second highest score in the innings. So long as he keeps finding himself among the top three scorers in the county's batting, then he's fulfilling his contract. In case you hadn't noticed, Galmorgan were 25-5 at stumps. with Antigua's Robbie Joseph taking 2-15.
last game vs Trinidad he got 44 in the first innings which was his teams second best score, Carter only beat him by three runs, against Guyana he got 62, best score in the first innings, against Trinidad in the group game he got 48 not out, BEST SCORE IN THE SECOND INNINGS which effectively won them the game, so in three of the matches he was in the top two scorers in one of the two innings, and yet HE WAS RIDICULED around these parts for not getting a ton!! ,
So now you're making excuses about the conditions? so when Shilly was taking 7fers and Searles took a 6fer on that minefield in Grenada the other day why was you ignoring the conditions then and blaming the batsmen? As I've pointed out to you ad nauseum, batting in English conditions in April and May on some of the pitches up here can be a nightmare, if you don't know how to move your feet. So, Sarwan's score in cloudy, seaming conditions is looking like quite a good one now....
You can't have it both ways mike or else you'll just come off looking like a HYPOCRITE!!! .
