Cricket Australia today advised that National Selector John Inverarity will announce the Australia ODI and Australia A squads in the CA offices in Melbourne at 1pm Melbourne time tomorrow (10 May).

The Australia ODI squad for the VB Tour of the British Isles in June and July, that will play an ODI against Ireland and five ODIs against England, will be announced. The Australia A squad for the VB Tour of England in July and August, which includes two three-day-games against English counties and two four-day-matches against the England Lions, will also be announced.

What: Full media conference to announce Australia ODI and Australia A squads for matches against England, Ireland and England Lions in June, July and August this year.

21 June vs Leicestershire, Grace Road
23 June ODI vs Ireland, Stormont, Belfast
26 June vs Essex, Chelmsford
29 June ODI vs England, Lords
1 July ODI vs England, Oval
4 July ODI vs England, Edgbaston
7 July ODI vs England, Durham
10 July ODI vs England, Old Trafford
11 July Australia ODI squad departs England

VB Tour of England – A team
17 July Australia A assembles in England
27 July – 29 July vs Derbyshire, County Ground Derby
1 August – 3 August vs Durham, Durham
7 August – 10 August vs England Lions, Old Trafford
14 August – 17 August vs England Lions, Edgbaston

wait, these chaps plan ahead for these things??? They are sticking to the old formula of planning and have practice games.

They have not learned anything from the great WICB!! They must have been left behind since WICB moving fahwud!! :P

It still is...but this just popped in my inbox. WI have to keep an yeye pon the competition ;)

However, OZ and WI both touring England... WI announced their squad about 8 DAYS ahead of the tour while OZ doing it about 8 WEEKS.
