No, they didn't...they've been a beating stick for years....
But at least under Gayle, they won a home series against England, and drew away series against NZ and SL....
If Sammy's side loses at home to the Kiwis, we will know they're going backwards....
The problem is that these selectors are arrogant arseholes who treat their players badly:

"Nash was unceremoniously dropped after winning his 21st Test caps for the West Indies last June. So poorly was it handled that he learned of his axing on the internet. With a point to prove to the West Indies' selectors, he agreed in March to join a new look Kent side headed up by his former batting mentor in Jamaica, Jimmy Adams. So far, the move is proving to be an agreeable one for both parties, despite the fact that Nash was greeted like a rookie on his first visit to the St Lawrence ground."

Sarwan comes to the crease with the Foxes on 25-2....
As some of us have said before, there's little difference in quality between divisions one and two in county cricket....
Otherwise, England would not have called up Jonny Bairstow for his Test debut. He is playing for Yorkshire in the second division, after all.
Sarwan and Nash are in good company, among the top ten runscorers in the second division, along with Bairstow.

1) DJ Redfern 5 matches, 361 runs, 60.16 ave
(Derbyshire)
2) JM Bairstow 4 matches, 357 runs, 59.50 ave
(Yorkshire)
3) RR Sarwan 5 matches, 342 runs, 42.75 ave
(Leicestershire)
4) PA Jaques 4 matches, 335 runs, 67.00 ave
(Yorkshire)
5) CDJ Dent 5 matches, 334 runs, 37.11 ave
(Gloucestershire)
6) JJ Cobb 5 matches, 296 runs, 42.28 ave
(Leicestershire)
7) BP Nash 5 matches, 284 runs, 71.00 ave
(Kent)
8) IA Cockbain 5 matches, 283 runs, 35.37 ave
(Gloucestershire)
9) MJ Guptill 5 matches, 273 runs, 39.00 ave
(Derbyshire)
10) HJH Marshall 5 matches, 267 runs, 29.66 ave
(Gloucestershire)
This is ahead of notable batsmen like Simon Katich, Alviro Petersen, and the Lions duo who so easily knocked off the target, Michael Carberry and Joe Root.
So far, the contracts of Sarwan and Nash have been good value for money for their counties....
