I do not know what the admission prices are etc, etc, however the organisers must be mightily pleased about the attendance figures. There was a lot of talk that the Indian cricket fan was by and large unmoved by 'team rivalry' as compared with the avid almost manic glee with which they support the national team. What an atmosphere they have been creating in the grounds and they have been rewarded today with two classic games!

That's sport for you, blood-curdlingly partisan in the heat of the moment; and once things cool down a bit the magic of what was witnessed whets the appetite for more. Would be interesting to see the accounts after the tournament.
