honestly, my interest in the WI/NZ ODI series was very low ... Hope NZ showing in the test is more competitive.

No, I merely said that Sir Trevor was there (the cameras showed him) so the very reasonable assumption would be that he is enjoying the cricket.

Not sure what your "piss on saffies cricket" will do - I suspect nothing at all. Never said there was "anything in it for you".

The two sides playing are ranked numbers 1 and 2 by the ICC so the cricket should be decent and I am going to watch when I can. You can choose to do whatever you like. Ha ha ha ha ha.

I WUD LIKE TO LOOK AT ALL THNGS..NOT JESS CRICKET COLOUR BLIND Bally!

but when I consider the reality in the world and long experience, I cant be bothered to deal with those issues like you guys do. its kind of like turning the other cheek.

its like: every time I look at them I remember a lifetime of indignities in cricket. then I have to fight myself to bring to bear principles of universality to the issue and the question begs: why bother. it wont make the slightest difference in their feelings towards me and mine and what I do..or affect my situation in the world positively

so piss on it! its one area over which I have complete control. I simply wont be bothered. I can show a bit of interest in dat Verlander fella..maybe in Hashim Amla although the way they forced Prince to open when Amla should have been the one to do so, pissed me off with Amla.

they have now succeeded in driving Prince out off the side altogether.

I cant be bothered Bally. let Armik aply his universalism to the issue and proceed. I am sure he will. I don't care! :o :o

Maps I hear you and totally understand your stance but the game must go on...

I can argue the same for Shiv when the WICB forced him out of the ODI team with a 41 average. Now we have batters like Charles averaging 19 and Smith 17 who are permanent fixtures in the same team.

i dont think there is ground for you to go as far relative to shive. shive got his favours and his blows too..like all the rest over his career

regimes change in westindies cricket and players get victimised and it ent have nutten to do with race.

shive came in at 18-19 years old under short. he was made captain under who Gordon?

he was tossed by skunt gibbo under a totaL idiot and ignoramus skunt Hunte. but gayle and others got the short end too from this admin

theres a lot of that in westindies cricket regardless. but its insular politics, class politics not epoch spanning racism.

I'm just talking purely on cricket sense for Shiv and not the other stuff. But my point in bringing Shiv into this was to show that shyte happens...

true. but what gave me my attitude is not the shyte that happens like that, but a calculated for profit and social control, program of racism that is several centuries old
