In the last Test against England, for the first time ever, the Windies have put out a side that includes six players of Asian origin - Adrian Barath (Trinidad), Asad Fudadin (Guyana), Narsing Deonarine (Guyana), Denesh Ramdin (Trinidad), Ravi Rampaul (Trinidad), and Sunil Narine (Trinidad).

Before that, the record was five Asian players in an XI. In a Test against India at the ARG in 2006, the Windies fielded five players of Asian origin in Sarwan, Chanderpaul, Ramdin, Darren Ganga, and Dave Mohammed.
