Mediocrity In Caribbean Cricket

i am not talking about mediocrity at the website caribbeancricket i am talking about the real caribbean cricket.

guyana has been terrible over in south africa. and guyana is supposed to be the best team in the caribbean.

narsingh deonarine looked like he was the real deal in australia. now guyana has dropped him.

west indies cricket is nearly dead. there are too many cricketers who are mediocre.

Agreed Guyana looks out of sort in SA. However, poster Narper a WICB backer is ashamed of our conquerored bwoys. He fails to see the mediocrity in managing the cricket but yet ashame of the output.

what i do know is mediocrity is achieved through laziness and poor attitude.

and caribbean cricket is infested with players who are lazy and have poor attitude.

and what is most shocking is caribbean players actually believe they are good.

Simple rather...WI people always tend to look to others (non-WIans) for leadership. Even today. and When some WI tries to provide that leadership, dem tear dem down.

Look at all the islands and see what is happening. Same thing...poor is becoming poorer and more crime, bribery, corruption etc.

So really what changed is the the people who were helping (indirectly) to train WI cricketers (the English county coaches) stopped! The stopped hiring WI cricketers.

Now some will point to the likes of Lara and say "he didn't pass thru English county cricket and look at him" True statement that! However, Lara was an exception! Look at the talent WI has always produced at the U15 and U19 level! Where has these talents gone?? no where! why? cause there has been no one to help them to the next level.

why cutoff the nose to spite the face? Now is the time to save face and hire REAL leaders. But then we have posters like Chrissy et al who prefer local leaders rather than foreigners. What would you say to these peeps?
