Jordan out for 15 in the first innings, but he'll have another chance today, since Surrey have been asked to follow on....

Chambers takes another wicket for Essex....AFRO wrote:If Chambers had any sense he'd give up on his lickle "England" dream and come back to the caribbean for the four day trials with Jamaica!!...because England ain't never gonna pick his rass!! .
The thing is, Chambers is not good enough to make the Jamaica team, not while he's competing with the likes of Cotterrell, Richardson and Russell. If Jamaica had a B team in the regional competition, he could probably make that!
It doesn't matter to him, though. He's making more money playing for Essex than he could wasting his time hanging around to see if the WI selectors would notice him....
In the meantime, Middlesex have omitted Collymore, Surrey have omitted Jordan, and Derbyshire have omitted Hughes.

I think this may have answered my question the last thread. I don't think these guys sitting on the bench doing nothing will help develop our players at all. It's best they return to domestic dung heap.mikesiva wrote:Chambers takes another wicket for Essex....AFRO wrote:If Chambers had any sense he'd give up on his lickle "England" dream and come back to the caribbean for the four day trials with Jamaica!!...because England ain't never gonna pick his rass!! .
