Snoop,

You are looking from player perspective and saying that they should face the consequences...

But why dont you think about the other thing. WICB dropping these players and what would be the consequences?

During the Bangladeshi series they lost lot of money since the best team was not selected... WI team lost to Bangladesh in all the matches which is the worst phase...It will also make sure that players feel more victimised and as an organisation WICB is against the players and never has anything positive for the players.

Does WICB want that?

You see that it might become an issue if other players follow the route...Now WICB's responsibility is to develop the game... If WICB discusses with the players and decides to come up with a contract that will be a win win for all concerned or no offer those who dont want contract upfront and divert the money elsewhere.

When WICB can sit with Digicel sell everything, Sit with Espn and give a contract for Free or a very low amount that they need to thief CL money from Guyana, Sit with BAS and give them free advertisement why are they iron handed witht he players alone? What makes them feel so powerful that they need to always control them?

You and WICB can fight for Test cricket but the change cannot be resisted... Who knows people might be bored by T20 and come back to test cricket some day still if WICB is quick they can survive else they will continue WI cricket into the path of the slow death which they had been taking it for years now...
