SA moving ahead now with Amla and Kallis. 155 - 2.

I don't know why some folks think this series might be close. This SA side is better than Australia.
The Australian bowling is decent but not great.

On the other hand when the Oz batsmen have to face Steyn, Morkel, and Philander well........

Petersen threw his wicket after doing all the hard work.. This pair doing a good job rebuilding... Looks like the Aussies will be chasing leather the first two days... I'm enjoying the silky Amla bat

Well after day one I cannot see SA throwing away the position they find themselves in.Australia are up against it.

I missed the post tea session. I hear Siddle pull a Roach and get Kallis with a no ball.

I missed the post tea session as well. Good work by Alma and Kallis building a solid foundation here.

Not sure who this rain break favors. Despite the Duminy injury I say that it favors Australia!!

Amla departed for 104 ...while King Kallis continue to pile it on with 138* and AB 33*. SA 360/3 and looking to set a big total for the Aussies.

Absorbing cricket when SA started bowling. Not surprising to see Australia go 3 down even though Quiney hooked off the meat of the bat but straight to Steyn on the boundary rope.

As usual Steyn, Philander and Morkel were quality. Did not see anything of the fourth seamer or much of Clark's (unfinished) knock.
