Chanderpaul ODI non-selection

Even after a shaky win against MINNOW Bangladesh the West Indies Batting look fragile with little SUBSTANCE and STABILITY.
West Indies selectors have been ignoring Shiv for the ODIs and yet have NO ONE to fill the void left by his non-selection. It just doesn't make any sense replacing a player without a proper replacement, like for like or better.
Are they changing players for change sake? What is the logic behind the non-selection when we can use Shiv's service to keep off minnow Bangladesh from beating WI up?
Here is the WI ODI middle order batting average for the last 4 years.
Player Ave
RR Sarwan 49.72
S Chanderpaul 48.92
N Deonarine 40.7
MN Samuels 31.78
KA Pollard 26.64
DJ Bravo 25.26
CS Baugh 25
DM Bravo 23.22
D Ramdin 21.72
DJG Sammy 18.31
DC Thomas 12.55
BTW, The world #1 ranked batsman is no other than West Indies own Shiv Chanderpaul, with almost a 1000 Test runs and 98.70 average in 2012. He is in good form...

Chanderpaul's non-selection = middle order batting woes compounded by inconsistent performances by the openers i.e. whichever pair is chosen to open chances are that they seldom perform successfully as a unit. This is holding WI back. How Sarwan would do if back in the team is anyone's guess but surely if he's fit, committed and unencumbered Sarwan ought to do better than Dwayne Smith, even in a ODI squad. No?

Bally:
These were Shiv's last 6 scores in onedayers:
44* in 106 balls(41 strike rate)----vs Pak in 2011 WC---last match
35 in 62 balls(56 strike rate)
4 in 6 balls(66 strike rate)
31 in 51 balls(60 strike rate)
3 in 5 balls(60 strike rate)
13* in 18 balls(72 strike rate).
FACT: Shiv was batting too damn slow---check out his pathetic strike rate.
THE GREAT NEWS:
Since Shiv was rightfully dropped from the oneday team for batting too slowly he has been on fire in tests---in 17 tests since he was discarded from onedayers---Shiv has scored 1633 runs at an average of 74.22 with 5 hundreds and 6 fifties.
HOPEFULLY SHIV WILL PLAY TESTS FOR ANOTHER 2-3 YEARS.
The dropping in onedayers made Shiv hungrier in tests.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY:
The last time Shiv played onedayers---his test average was around 49---since he was dropped from onedayers----his test average has risen to 51.67

Rev that sample of the last 6 games too small...for a player with 250+ games . Shiv was out of form too. Beside Sarwan, Shiv and Gayle, no body else has a 40+ average.
them seh they dropped Shiv for rebuilding now a 2nd stringer BAngla team banging we like a $2 garden tool now..

look at Dwayne Smith's last 5 ODI scores, 0+9+0+4+0 = 13. 13/5 =2.6 Smithy last few scores like my zip code 09040 .
Here is a guy playing his 87th ODIs with a career average of 16.69. It's about a THIRD of Shiv's ODI batting average of 41.6. LAWD

Bally, when you have Shiv and Sars in the team, the standards become too high for the rest of the chaps!! Now remove the higher standards and you have a team who performs at the same level, singing kumbaya!!
Higher standards just makes the other chaps look bad. we can't have that in a team!!

standards not good enough for our super performaning WI team!!![]()
I gave up on the Windies ODI side when they dropped Shiv.
We have a world-class T20 team, a Test team that is showing incremental improvements, but an ODi side that is going backwards.
