sammy is tuff and can play. he will always fight so look fuh ah fifty or 2 down in the tail. he have to play as a bowler fus' and bat in the tail to keep the side balance.

lil Bravo is a nice pik. with a fus 5 that goes: gayle. Smith, Barath, Shive, Sknash, then Bravo, keeper, Benn, Shillingford, Roach, the last spot is sammy. which means Bravo mus' use the new ball with Roach.

so what if lil smith and lil Bravo mek runs? and Russell shines...wat deh go do den?

I feel deh go drop big Bravo rass which would leave a gaping hole at #6. but deh have to get another fast bowler in there..Pascal!

how in the hell they go do that and avoid Bravo using the new ball..which is a must to avoid as far a I am concerned?

there does not appear to be a natural place for sammy in the side because he cant do what Bravo does..bat at six with no loss or weakening of the side.

a place has to be found for sammy..he cant force a place on ability and his inclusion messes up the sides' chemistry, weakening it!

I cant see a way of including sammy without making things worse.

did they really think about this problem before they made sammy captain?

now that I look at the sammy captain question...wow! that was a bad move indeed. it looks like sabotage.. sammy as captain is a seriously awful move.

this will not end good! no matter what you do, how yuh cut it, sammys inclusion results in a weakening of the westindies.

right off the bat sammy will have to be a seriously good captain to neutralise or make up for the weakening of the side his inclusion creates.

the other players wont like it. they can see this even better than I can I am sure. how long before a revolt?

it is not that sammy is a sheite-hong, he is a decent not great player but he does not fit anwyahere in the side.

we have 2 spinners who are the best bowlers on the side. roach has displayed enough pace and promise to be guranteed a place. and we must have a complement to roach in the pace and that would be Pascal who is fast, and eussell who can be fast..and is a promising batsman as well.

it would serve westindies much better to have one of them opening with roach, given an extended chance to prove themselves one way or the other.

Bravo with the new ball does not entice or encourage. bravo is not a strike bowler like that. with the new ball he would just be stop-gap, make-do, to ensure sammy has a place in the side.

so where is sammy to be put not to disturb westindies prospects of having their best side on the field?

it was better to pick one of the youngsters who certain to make the side and work with them, rather than create this serious problem of imbalance for the side

no he cant. his inclusion is a real problem I see now. no matter where he plays he weakens the team seriously!
