well..only so much about my life and what shaped it, the westindian reality as it led out into general and broad perspecives on life as a whole.. what shaped is most important
life is important man..an individual life. an individual life is crucial. its all we have while we have it. nothing is possible unless that life is so developed, so frameworked by positive social organisation to goon and reproduce itself, and make better as it goes. we have to make a an organic positivity between the individual and the collective to ensue survival.
life is a frightening thing. the general quality of the human mind to me seems fear...dread some people described it as. only human confidence cn overcome that dread if it can be overcome at all. the dread derives from the very condiions of existence, the lack of knowledge, neve rbeing able to know allthatones needs to know to gurantee survival..never will know all until one becomes perhaps god?
human confidence derives from the safety and security we make of life. the more we can do thngs to ensure life is born and survives, live longer, the moe human confidence can grow...if the attendant intellectual content is one that shares all of the stage that can accomlish such advances among all the people
what are we here for? is that a valid question? it may not be as we appear to be product of mere potential in the overall universal evolutionary process. as such how we came to be, we are not crucical to anything and are subject to all that any other life form is subject to, up to and ncluding an extinction of our very own.
is that our destiny? are we like neantherthall, australopithecus and all other hominids an evolutionary dead end?
all this, unconsciously our sense of dread stems from.
there is probability and we know what that is mathematically. we can calculate the chances of every possibility we know about, in existence. for an individual life the chances are small. yet we cherish our lives so much and we develop all the approaches and attitudes to life we have developed, some quite prideful, overbearing and nasty. yet the truth of our insignificance begs.
most humans live with, and in an intellectual content that is hardly consistent with the trtuh of our realty we have proven so far..an invalid content I call it... that we can see just by turning around all the clocks in ones vicinity and standing back and observing the world, others, of realising oneself as flesh and blood, bones, ribs, tongue, feet, liver-light...
reads like the carcass of a cow about to be cut up and sold for meat.
but thats the way we are, just like all other mamals. and all other life forms mamals or not.
and when you get rid of linear time you can see yourself as alive and true as you really are, in a process thats never ending, are of that process....and there is nothing you can do to stop it, slow it down, take a rest, get outside it, off it, on top of it...nothing. you are part of it, it goes on and the only shot you have is to actually come to know it totally, and master it and use whatever you discover in it to your advantage...like the extension of indivdual life as far as you can take it, making life as secure as possible...
but to do that you must deal with truth and to deal with truth, the invalid content of life, in yur mind, must be changed into truth, dealing with truth and truth only, for nothing else matters, is downright dangerous instead of the truth... for the world, the universe is the process and it never stops and being dialectical in nature, there is at one and the same time all sides to all things and that which is good for you can also kill you... so you must know at all times, be able to know, to have your mind ready and capable of learning, skills to be able to adapt, change transform things in order to survive
but there is much before all that to come to..how these truths hit the mind and from what do they come to a young mind. the nature of the society and family as it impacts young minds..how the society came to be that way it is etc.....
we do not know what we do to children....but I will have to continue tomorrow, sometime.....sleep tight

I tried once, got that message, and dat was dat!
there was a struggle to be first to ban mih on that board and I suspect cacabelly, calypso and googley were running. several times I could not get onto the board and when I complained nobody knew. so it had to be someone with the authority.
and the authority as far I knew was in the hands of cacabelly, googley and calypso!
