Powell= 23
Darren Bravo 24
Roach= 24
Gabriel 24
Narine= 24
Shillingford= 30
Permaul= 23
yes we do have those..and shilly is really good though I did not realise he was 30 already.

and good point about Swannie as the driver of the english attack. that's true. also Panesar is an impse save when the conditions in his favour. that fact came home to me powerfully this last rounds here.

you know yuh cricket...better than impse saboteur Rev Al

west indies...the problem close to the field is Gibbo/Sammy/Radford/Buttsy. if they dont get better team managementwest indies will not get the best out the players we have now..apparently the young fast bowlers especially..whom Gibbo does not want to select

WIth all the harping about Swann that Afro is going on about, he's totally missing the point of playing in New Zealand...those pitches are much better suited to seamers than spinners. NZ are doing well in this series, but how many of their wickets were taken by spinners?

The conditions in NZ are cold and damp, windy and good for seamers. Think England in May, when our batsmen were totally clueless on seaming pitches....

We can beat them in our home conditions, but beating them in NZ is a difficult proposition. That's why when the WI side led by Gayle drew their Test series in NZ, that was an outstanding result....

This WI Test side will lose the Test series in NZ, I'm afraid to say....

THAT IS WHAT i FIGURE ANYWAY!

yet we have to play "innocent until proven guilty" in that maybe, just maybe west indies will advance enuff to be competitive in Kiwi..

but for that to take place team leadership from coach to captain must change...as well as a focus on the youth in batting and in pace.

but I wud bet any money at all that Tino will be on the boat to Wellington :o

:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

LOL WHAT A DELUSIONAL PR/CK!! :lol: :lol: :lol: , erm so is South africa conducive to spin? NO, is England? NO, is Australia? NO, but Swann has taken wickets in those conditions his whole career, so please wheel and come again!! 8-) ,

And you've also missed my point AGAIN as usual!! :roll: , i said Swann is usually the man TO BREAK PARTNERSHIPS AND GET THE OTHERS GOING, i didn't say he would take 5fers every innings,

In closing don't confuse us with YOUR team old boy!!.. when we go to NZ we will put up a better fight, i'm 100 sure of that!! :mrgreen: .

england was very lucky in this innings...3-4 drop ketches and about same amount of near misses.

prior get bowled but bails would not fall. man get LBW and the kiwi did not see and did not appeal.

pheeeeeee!

mikesiva: the Kiwi pace is going to be a handful in england as well. AFRO missed that point. yes england are going to go out to seek revenge... but can they against the Kiwi attack in helpful conditions?

the coming Kiwi series in england isnt going to be as easy for england as AFRO expects
