Darren Lehmann, the successful Queensland coach, is considered a leading contender to replace Arthur at short notice. Lehmann is in England having just finished a tour as mentor of the Australia A outfit and has won rave reviews for the tough and somewhat old-school approach he has taken with Queensland since he was appointed in 2011.

It is all about winning! You have to work for it rather than sitting around and hope the team gets better. Respect, to CA for taking this bold step trying to change the recent trend of the team...

Bally it don't matter what they "change". As long as they can't produce a decent batter to compliment this likes of Clark they will continue to lose. Aurthur lead South Africa to number one before so he's obviously got talent as a coach, but the bottom line remains that if you haven't got good players to work with you're always gonna be walking on a slippery rope.

Some coaches have started poorly and have improved like Gibbo and now Duncan, so maybe in time he could have turned it around but i personally think Australia are heading down a dark road, there's just no talent in the cupboard at all.
